How can I get high CBD strain weed?

I live in a major city, and everyone who sells is always like "AW YEAH MAN, THIS soykaf IS FIRE BRO, YOU'LL LOVE IT". I just want high cbd/low thc for my mental health. I'm guessing DNM is the only way other than medical (not gonna happen)? Most markets are down, not reputable, "compromised", etc. I don't even know what to do.

Sativa strains tend to have higher CBD concentrations. Just ask people for mellow Sativa and you'll probably get what you're looking for.

Basically go to a legal state or Canada or some soykaf, dispensaries round here have both sativas and indicas with a soykafton of THC and literally no CBD or anything else. And also more rarely soykaf with absolutely no THC, or a mix of the two. or wax with a pretty even ratio of both, which is actually pretty fuarrrking amazing, would recommend.

you can get cbd oil in most smoke shops. it's legal and all that jazz. I've even seen vapes for cbd.

>>3410 actually it is generally true that (under the same environmental factors) sativa will have a higher concentration THC and indica will have a more balanced concentration of CBD and THC. In my experience, without knowing the actual chemical makeup of each strain, indicas are more sedating, and carry more of the effects typically associated with a CBD-oriented high (munchies, anti-anxiety, etc.) Also keep in mind most cannabinoids have very different levels of potency, and thus percentage of plant matter isn't on its own the best metric for the effects you're getting - for example, CBN while usually extremely low in concentration, is 8x more potent than THC iirc. Also, as an aside, indicas being more sedating could just be a result of the collective effect of cannabinoid ratios indicas tend towards, but regardless the effects are likely to be very similar to what OP is looking for.

>>3263 you could probably buy some hemp. I've seen cured buds sold in the local liquor store and they legally must have less than .3% thc and 10%+ CBD. All you need to do is buy normal bud and mix in a bit of the hemp when you smoke. I've found ratios as low as 20:1 have a noticeable improvement over most modern strains which have had all their cbd bred out.
