Kind of curious demographics wise, who else here is a complete and irredeemable dopefeen? Everything on here I've seen seems to suggest that lainchan anons are skewed heavily towards the kind of people who only dabble in psychedelics, weeds, and maybe stimulants. On the other hand if I look irl the majority of people that I know that are into deep into the computing scene (engineerings, programmers, retrocomputing hobbyists, etc. etc.) seem to be caught in the web of opi addiction like I am. Especially seeing as opis are such a solitary drug, they seem to go hand in hand with the kind of loners who rarely go out and socialize and instead turn inwards and spend all their time outside of work tinkering and programming. Psychedelics, weed, uppers always seem to have a more social aspect to them (at least to me) and I was never able to enjoy them the same way I ended up enjoying (and falling for the trap of) opis. Thoughts?

mostly take psychs but opis are far and away my favorite drug
its just not economically feasible for me to cop opis like that besides d which im not tryn do
so i stick w percs & kratom in that regard
though i'm sure i'll only get more reckless with time unfortunately

i have to be thankful for my social ineptitude and lack of computer skills+fear of getting caught, other wise i would be dead or hopelessly addicted to h. i got a taste of it when i still had real life connections and it felt like god himself was touching my soul.

i tried opiates 5 times, only one of them was a good experience with oxy (also had a very negative evening on oxy). Otherwise i just had annoying nausea and overwhelming feeling of worry
then again I havent been depressed for years. Im sure this is a drug for depressed peple, like anxious folk love their benzos.

yeah, a daily habit gets expensive real fast

I know exactly what you mean. the only times I manage to somehow be clean are times are the few months at a time when I don't have a plug. Usually one ends up falling into my lap at random at one point or another, been fairly lucky (I guess you could also call it unlucky) from that point of view

This is very very common with opi-naive people. Opiates are a lot stronger than people give them credit for, especially if you're chasing a recreational high. The boundary between great euphoria and nausea can be pretty slim for people with no tolerance, sadly.

Nodding in bed after a long hard day is beyond comfy. All tucked and curled in, weird thoughts and dreams floating through your head. Love it

Tried opiates several times and decided I needed to stay clear, or I would form a habit in no time. They're just too good. The fear of getting killed by fentanyl kept me away from ever trying heroin though.

ive only dabbled into the realm of oxycodone and downers like xanax and klonopin. never really wanted to touch any other opiates cause they scare me, especially ones that are usually taken through injection

I was hooked on u47700 for a while before it was derezzed, thankfully I don't have any friends or I'd definitely be hooked on heroin.

I've never had a stable enough access to it to get addicted. Makes me nauseous but yes feels good. However I still prefer uppers because uppers don't take away my drive they just pervert it. With opiates I feel good but also like a piece of soykaf for doing nothing.
zoom zoom pills make me go fast.
