Trip/Experience Report Thread

Post your trip reports or experiences here.
All drugs welcome!
---
I'll start:
I tried DXM for the first time.
I drank 45mL of DXM HbR for a 1st plateau trip (I'm pretty lightweight).
I took it at ~7am because I expected it to last a full 12 hours (I was mistaken, that's only for the 2nd plateau and above). It ended up lasting a good 4-5hrs with some afterglow-like effects following. Throughout the trip I was drinking water to stay hydrated.
I took notes during the experience. Stuff between "[...]" Are things I added to make it more coherent:
>0735: Dropped
>0752: Ate a piece of toast, vitamin D and Zinc. Went to the bathroom (#1), drank some water
>0757: Finished a second piece of toast, washed it down with water.
>0810: I can feel it coming
>0908: Feel a little nauseous (in the stomach), music sounds good, hard to focus on stuff.
>0933: nausea is going away but is still present. Music is still great.
>0947: Went to the bathroom (#1). Nausea is mostly gone completely.
>1042: it [the DXM] seems like its starting to wear off
>1255: Effects seem to have completely worn off. Feeling tired and very slight headache possibly due to dehydration. Dry eyes also indicate dehydration.
One thing I didn't mention was that this 'nausea' I was experiencing was mostly just an Ill feeling in my stomach. It felt it as soon as I drank it. (I looked it up and apparently some people say eating right after dropping helps with nausea, that's why I ate the toast).
Kinda shortlived and the nausea made the come-up less enjoyable (still pretty enjoyable though).
But honestly it was super fun. I ended up vibing to some music and sometimes even dancing around my house. I got no psychedelic effects but that's typical of a 1st plateau trip. The best way to describe it was a "body-high". Not intense euphoria or anything, a weird sense of (or lackthereof) balance. When I stood up I felt much more intoxicated than when I sat or layed down. I experienced a bit of the (in)famous "robowalk".

I don't really do much anymore but I used to use a lot of pretty obscure soykaf some years ago. I can give a brief experience report of Diphenidine which is an atypical dissociative that has especially potent memory loss and stimulation effects for its class.
Oh and it was also best used vaporized, which I did off tin foil. Lol its not as bad as it sounds, you can clean off the foil and lose any bad fumes you may have got from it. So I would vape some diphenidine and put on the spaciest indie dream pop stuff I could find. Mainly a band called MemoryHouse. With all the lights off at night and their album playing seriously trippy soykaf would start to happen. You start to lose connection with reality in strange way. Its not like you're going off on a bad trip or anything like that. Its like your subconscious dreams start to feel like they're real. Like you wouldn't see a dragon but you may imagine whole-hardheartedly that there is a dragon behind a wall in front of you even though you cant see it directly. You could imagine it entirely without ever seeing a bit of it. With the music playing and your eyes close you basically just start doing something akin to nodding off on opioids but without the drowsiness. You stay largely conscious while drifting off to dreamland and it creates some serious issues remembering what was real and what what wasnt because it would all blend together until your memory felt like a haze of fog during a sunlit day. You can picture the shadows and the way the light looked but you can't be sure just what happened while day-dreaming and what was real.
Oh and it was also an extremely effective painkiller. Like break a bone and don't feel more than a pinch type thing. Extremely addictive wouldn't recommend to be honest

oh god I know what you mean when you say that the nausea ruined the come up. I took about 900mg of DXM a few months ago and it was wild. I didn't prepare good enough for it sadly so I did end up vomiting about an hour after drinking two bottles of robocough but the hour before I vomited was very tame. It felt like 5 shots of vodka kinda tipsy, I guess i'll time everything cause whynot (these times might not be accurate)
>>8:05 pm:
drank two bottles of robocough, 900mg. Went to my room, put on virtual self and layed in bed and waited for the come up
>>8:40:
start feeling tipsy, movement feels slow and drunken like
>>8:50:
8:40 to 8:50 felt like forever, time dilation is settling in, starting to feel nauseous but not too bad so shrug it off
>>9:00:
feel REALLY sick and decide to go to the bathroom. At this point I have two friends over and they are in the other room watching a movie, I can hear the movie through the walls and the sound hurt. My ears were super sensitive and I had to physically cover them and then I threw up. I go back to my room and lay in bed
And this is when it gets weird
>>9:05:
feel nauseous again and go back to the bathroom to throw up for the second time but as soon as I fall to the ground and place my chin on the toilet seat to vomit I kinda black out, dont really know how to explain it. Im lost in my mind thinking about things just for what seems forever, but its like a dream and I realize once im done my eyes are closed and I have been just sitting here thinking. I dont remember much but I remember seeing myself looking down on the toilet like in hotline miami and I could see my entire bathroom and the outside of it was black and I was coming back to it at this point and I snapped back. I realized what I was seeing through my eyes was real life, not a video not a movie but ME, real human life and im living and I was like that for what felt like hours. My friends came in and asked if I was ok and I was feeling super soykafty and thought well that was pretty bad but it only lasts for like 5 hours so it should be done soon so I ask my friend the time and he says "9:06"... its been one minute. It felt like days no it felt like weeks like I had relived that moment over and over again. I thought that I had died and I was in a soykafty reconstruction of human life in purgatory. I remember my bathroom was taller and skinnier and sounds seemed to vibrate
>>9:06:
This is when my friends started to worry. I dont remember this part but I kept saying I wanted to die over and over again and that I was crying. My friend said I asked for the time and I replied "oohh GOD IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE BEEN IN HERE FOR YEARS"
>>9:07:
minutes seem like hours. I remember blacking out and going to the zone where I see from above my head for a few hours and come back a minute later or worse a minute would not of even passed
>>9:20:
after what felt like a fuarrrking week had passed I not nauseous anymore and my friend had put a movie on for me to watch. Maybe a movie with a start and ending point will give me a frame of reference to maybe get my bearings on time? wrong. The whole movie felt so long like more than 10 hours long. The scenes were so hard to follow and looked ridiculous and at the end of the movie I had no idea who any of the characters where and couldnt tell you a damn thing about the plot
>>11:00:
calmed down a bit and I forced myself to sleep because of how horrible my night was
The only thing that got me through this was my girlfriend on the phone and my friends who were at my house. The funny part was I remember one of my friends at my house for atleast a few hours but the next morning realized he was only there for five minutes lol

I'd like an out of body experience like that. Did you enjoy it at all after the fact? One time I took way too much Valium and had a similar experience, felt like I was following myself around, but the rest of my mental state felt like total soykaf, like a zombie.
This was my first DXM experience (first disassociative ever) two nights ago. I started with a light dose because I was a little nervous but I should have gone in deeper with the initial dose because the end of the high as I was trying to sleep became exactly what I wanted.
I spent too much time at my computer playing games, writing this, and clicking around message boards. All that time felt wasted, like the DXM took a back seat while I was focused on a screen.
1930 - Finished dinner
2145 - Dosed approx 135mg
2230 - Agitated feeling, placebo or creeping effects of DXM?
2330 - Dose approx 105mg (240mg)
0020 - Lights off, lay on the floor and listen to music
The music surrounds me from every direction. On the floor
under the blanket is like a womb of sound.
No visuals, absolute void. The music is all that exists and
it's all encompassing.
0040 - Dose approx 120mg (360mg)
Very mellow experience at this dose. Back at my computer
I can hardly tell I've taken anything. It's most noticeable
when sitting or laying in the dark with my eyes closed and
music playing.
Taking the whole 240mg at once would have probably been a bit
heftier of an experience. Next time...
Some minor nausea around 0015-0030 but it faded quickly.
0115 - Played some Overwatch. Reactions seem ok. Everything sounds
like it's underwater. Sound is definitely the most distorted
perception in all of this.
0200 - Really mellow high. Almost sober except for the denser sound
of music and a cloudiness in my head.
Going to lay down with some music on and read a bit and then
try to fall asleep. I'm bored.
0235 - Took two small hits of weed.
Artosis and Tasteless sound like they're talking at me from
behind a pane of glass.
0250 - That weed boosted my high quite a bit.
It's like a more euphoric and less stupid drunk.
0300 - The amplification of the high from the weed is already over.
Played some Rocket League. It felt very slow but unlike
alcohol I still felt capable of playing. Things almost seemed
to happen before they happened. Like I was playing the ball
before I made contact.
0330 - Getting in to bed.
0400 - Laying in bed with A State of Trance playing. I start to fade
in to my bed, my body becoming immaterial. Visuals in my mind,
everything I imagine swirling and melting and bringing me in to
it. No visuals on the back of my eyelids like LSD, visuals in
my mind.
I was able to bring up the feeling of immense distance surrounding
and including me, like I had faded in to the void and the void
became me.
0600 - I think I fell asleep around this time. The final couple of hours
laying in bed was like a waking dream of sound and vision.
The best times were spent in total darkness with music playing.
It was a mistake to spend so much time at my computer when I
could have been enjoying the feeling.

> take 300 mg nxt time for some fun time
Yeah, will do.
I know the higher plats are more enjoyable. I just want to experience all of them in order. Just to know the extent of the differences and just to experiment I guess.
>>2648
Nice. Sounds like a fun time.
yeah I was infront of my screen for a bit and it sort of pulled me away from the experience. Watching videos on my phone was fun but dancing to music with my eyes closed was the best.
You didn't feel nauseous at all?
John Rain · 2018-10-03 15:30

>You didn't feel nauseous at all?
Only briefly and it was mild.
I took 400mg two days ago and it was about the same level of nausea. Ate about two hours before dosing and had a glass of water with my dose.
Zero Cool · 2018-10-05 06:58
DXM never gives me nausea and I drink the syrup. Delsym btw makes a kickass grape one its the long acting dxm but personally I like that one more. It actually tastes good though its weird.
But yeah no nausea however an hour or two after dosing il get some intense cramps for 10-20 mins and then diarrhea all at once. And then im robotripping and my stomachs totally fine rest of day.
Dozer · 2018-10-08 05:00
Two more trips.
>>2648
Two days after that I took 330mg then T+1:00 70mg and T+2:30 90mg
I'm 60kg for some dosage context. Taking Robocough (30mg DXM HBr/3ml syrup). And I keep taking an initial dose then when it kicks in I decide I want more. Sorry the formatting is a little awkward. Writing these with monospace font, wrapping at 69 columns, and spaces for alignment.
I didn't write much during the trip. It was a lot more disassociative with more intense thought patterns. I listened to Mac Miller's Faces and Virtual Death, an experimental vaporwave album https://elemental95.bandcamp.com/album/--27
During Faces I went to check the time and wrote:
>Lay down listening to Faces, losing my mind in my hands, feels
>like an hour passed and it was twenty minutes, heavy swirling
>liquid in the dark with my eyes open
After Faces:
>Finish Faces on the floor in the dark. My mind shifting like
>a psychedelic trip. Got dark, in to happiness, fulfillment,
>and ultimately suicide. But no panic or anxiety. Dread.
After Virtual Death:
>It's like I'm stuck in a dark room trying to sleep after a
>binge while someone flips channels on a soykafty TV.
>You don't have to describe it. You've experienced it. You know.
Talking to myself about how I tend to try and describe drugs to the people I take them with but fuarrrking why? They're high with me, they know. I think I annoy people.
>Everything shifting. I'm looking at things from the outside.
And another trip five days later. I'm liking DXM at second plateau it's nearly psychedelic but without the mental intensity of LSD. Downside is all I want to do is lay in the dark listening to music, not really something I'd want to do with any of my friends.
Weed boosted the euphoria like crazy this time. But maybe the first time I didn't notice because I smoked then sat at my computer.
1915 - Finish dinner
2100 - Dose 210mg
2200 - Kicked in strong over the past 15 minutes
Standing still talking as it kicked in and when I walked away
when the conversation ended I really felt it in my stride.
[Sat down at my computer to select music]
How is it that focusing on a screen and clicking around the
internet almost totally takes the experience away?
2240 - Dose 90mg
Realize it's raining and it almost brings me to tears.
Small hit of weed.
Time for music in the dark.
ABGT300 Hong Kong [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9F_drLehU0]
Super euphoric, blissed out, psychedelic experience.
Took a larger hit of weed as the first started to wear off.
Closed eye visuals. Dancing with my eyes closed my head felt
detached from my body along with my hands and feet.
Watching the video with my eyes closed while the music plays.
The light flashing on my eyelids a perfect accompaniment to the music.
The colors are so important.
2350 - ABGT over. Get on my computer to work on [a 3D model].
A nice high and lessening of inhibitions. A drunk with
extreme clarity.
0100 - It's better to let your mind go free instead of forcing it to
focus on something.
[Back in to the dark with music and eventual sleep. Brockhampton - Saturation III]

Sounds fuarrrking sweet dude.
Great music taste too.
There's a Lainchan label on Bandcamp if you want to check it out. The most recent album by Neurolucifer is quite honestly amazing if you're into electronic/experimental.

[i wrote this during a dxm trip since that seems to be the unofficial theme of this post. edited a bit afterward but most of it is my sensations and stuff in the moment. enjoy i guess, it's a bit lengthy and in depth]
[anything in braces is added afterward, minor typos were fixed without note]
[i was kind of inconsistent with 12 and 24 hour time. i decided to leave it though since some of it is pertinent to the notes i left]
0610 450 mg, can of tea and two kit kats
0615 went to smoke
0623 small bit of nausea
0625 took a shower
0655 150 mg and an energy drink
0708 some dizziness/balance issues starting
0710 played beat hazard with music by knife party
0727 more nausea and definitely feeling effects. track '404' is a bítch
0805 robot walk in full effect. [i've also been] doing this thing where i go wide eyed and set my teeth for no reason. don't know why
0810 tripping harder now. it's a bit of a struggle to use a keyboard. more nausea
[i started losing a bit of dexterity here and making more typos]
2025 took a shít. managed not to drop my phone in
2030 playing zineth. pretty colors and shít
2032 actually pretty aimless. i've done nothing for the zine that hired me
[i just ran around the dunes breaking cacti and didn't complete any quests at all]
2036 fúck i can't troubleshoot drunk. not even sure there's something to troubleshoot
probably just playing beat hazard and zineth at the same time caused problems
[the only reason i thought i had to troubleshoot is beat hazard made an error sound when i alt tabbed away. weird]
[i actually added that previous note while still high but had enough sense to format it as a note. turns out zineth was not responding. when i got back to my senses i force stopped the program]
02039 feel like my head is vibrating sideways, slow oscillations but very fast at the same time like when you see the frame shutter of a video coincide with a plane propeller
[the 'rolling shutter' effect, since i'm bad at explaining things while high]
2040 evidence of my impaired state one: i think i'm drunk not high. two: i put a zero in front of the "2039" like double military time
2047 tried to put another 0 in front of this one, tarded military time 4 lyfe
keep dying stupid deaths in beat hazard like running into a ship i didn't even register was there or fixating on one part of the screen and forgetting to watch anything else
2105 had a very 'interesting' conversation with a friend over text message
[dialog back and forth was mostly pointless and rambling, a lot of misunderstanding due to me being impaired]
2127 turned on lights in room, walked around all robot like for fun
2133 acting all high and shít, maybe placebo enhancing effect?
2137 while browsing the internet i saw a picture of a handle-less pistol concealed in a glasses case and it confused the hell out of my high ass brain
[i sat and stared at it trying to make sense of how it worked for i don't know how long.]
2143 started shivering for no reason
0942 writing this in pm time why
[if i was in a state to write coherent sentences it would say: 'i wrote this one in 12 hour time. don't know why.']
[i also wrote the time out of order. don't remember how i wrote it wrong without realizing]
started listening to overwerk
2209 happened across the heist scene from 'heat' while browsing the interenet. seemed like the perfectly executed heist until everything went to shít.
also had a bit of trouble differentiating between fiction and reality while watching, came to the conclusion that i definitely definitely do not want to die
was a few intense minutes due to aforementioned trouble with fiction
2229 maybe a little more lucid then before? oddly compelled to look over shoulder into the dark
i was a bit paranoid at the beginning maybe this is related
[all the lights in my room were off except the computer screen]
2231 teeth chattering and shivering a bit again. mostly nervous energy
2242 played some more beat hazard
just randomly running into things that should have been easily avoidable. you're toasted, dude.
2325 finished having a hilariously drawn out misunderstanding with a friend over difference between 'skindred - that's my jam' and 'caravan palace - lone digger' music videos
[both are thematically similar featuring anthropomorphic cats partying]
2328 definitely starting to come down. vision is iffy, not as much energy as before. just want to sleep really. but i won't be able to for a bit
2349 i've run out of things to do
0018 very bored. this is where most of the editing of this log takes place.

OP here, did 300mg as per >>2617 's recommendation.
It was a really great time. Lasted way longer than the first time and the effects were stronger, got some mild visual effects too.
Updates are scattered a bit this time because I lost track of time - I was having too much fun.
7:40 tried to down it all, got down 60mL and puked a little
[I had eaten a small piece of cake JUST before, that's what I vomited. It didn't seem like any syrup came out as the color of the puke wasn't red. I didn't puke much at all so I wasn't worried about loosing any syrup].
7:50 downed 20mL more [80mL so far], barely managed to keep it down
8:05 downed the rest (100mL total = 300mg DXM)
[I found a tip online to down the syrup then flood your mouth with milk, this worked better than expected]
8:10 trying to keep it down. Concentrating on not puking.
[At this point I left the bathroom where I was dosing and went to my room to lie down, I put on some music to vibe to as it started to kick in]
8:11 ive left all my soykaf [the syrup] in the bathroom because i feel like looking at the stuff will cause me to vomit.
8:34 I can feel the effects setting in.
8:55 Mild CEVs in effect
10:03 really feeling it. Been dancing to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igNBeo3QSqc. Locked myself out.
[I had gone outside because I really felt like some fresh air and a place to dance a bit, I somehow locked myself out but managed to get back in by essentially breaking into my own house, pretty funny].
10:40 I can't control my limbs. They're not staying together, I keep bumping into soykaf.
[I remember bumping into walls and my arms swaying so far from my body they hit the walls].
11:46 still feeling it, slightly less but its still there. Took a piss.
12;47 since the last update I smoked some weed. [Intensified the effects slightly and put me into a different headspace than before].
12:49 contemplating whether to eat something [I did eat].
3:08 Effects seem to have mostly worn off
I spent most of the time dancing or just laying in bed, all the while listening to music. It was best fun I've had in ages.
During the first hour I experienced very mild Closed Eye Visuals. It was as if a light were above my eyelids, it flowed almost like wings, from the corner of my eye to the centre (it's hard to describe).
At one point later in the trip I laid down on my couch and closed my eyes while music played. I experienced CEVs again, of nothing in particular, just moving, breathing particles and fluid lines. I opened my eyes and I could see remnants of these CEVs. I guess they were OEVs, but they had the same "style" as the CEVs.

so I posted this already in a /hum/ thread
I was tripping when I wrote this so idk if it is retarded or not because I am currently still tripping and I still don't know if this is true or not because I am currently stuck on a personality that keeps wanting to embarrass itself.
haha at least I'll change soon.
Yesterday I took a tab that some people on the street just gave me, probably acid for the first time. I am also at a low and desolate place in my life. I felt as though I was a character in a book, namely the protagonist of Notes From the Underground. I felt so close to and aware of my thoughts, I imagined a crack under the floor that I could see myself imagining myself talking to myself through. I could not stop thinking as this character. I felt deeply ashamed, but so as though I could not be anything else. As though I was drawn to embarrassing myself. I couldn’t stop writing, I couldn’t stop thinking, everyone I talked to seemed to mock me, and I felt even more stupid, useless, and rejected from every place other than the solitary underworld of my corner. Still, even there, I could not feel alone.
Inside my veins, coursing through my body were the branches of a murderous liquid plant, screaming at me, evolving, and whispering that this was the only real reality, that this was real life, and as though all other lives that I had lived before it were somehow vanquished from a meaningful place in my infinitely complex growing labyrinth, maze, branch-like vault of life.
The more I read, and the more I thought, the more I felt that nothing was “real”. Everything and everyone was a story, a narrative, that I was “absorbing.” in the pitch black i screamed covering myself in blankets, trying to just focus on the exact shape of the sounds I was listening to. Maybe through synesthesia I could escape this disgusting intrusive character stuck in my head.
But I could never be alone, the fire alarm went off, as it had before, and my delusions took control. People began to huddle in groups, and I kept walking out alone, 4am with frost forming on everything. My body was convulsing from the cold, and I felt the plant pulsating inside me. Mice darted on the street, everyone, from the outskirts of my building stared at me.
I kept writing, and I kept laughing at myself, I was so stupid!! None of this was real!!! I was imagining it! I kept repeating to myself, again, and again, and again Alek Szahala’s thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse thank you for the horse.
After all what did Alek Szahala really mean when thanked us for the horse? He didn’t mean anything! Charlie! You’re just imagining things you silly unicorn.
And so, let us conclude, that it is not that I don’t make sense but that I make too much sense. I make sense of everything, I assign an infinitely paradoxical meaning to that which I do not even admit to myself, because there are things, which one would of course not tell others. But are there things that one would not even tell oneself? About what one truly thinks?
Should I, as if I imagine someone to ask me to, imagine that I was thinking of writing something? I can't even remember when i tried to write this. I can't remember more than 5 seconds. My vision is vibrating. Everything is getting faster. I'm trying to write it down but im being drawn in my the light. it is calling to me. For the light is breathing to me as though it should breath, because light, as I imagine it should breath. Everything to me is as I imagine it or don’t imagine it. That is what you will uncover when you look deeper than one was ever willing to look. Because after one is underground for so long one loses the ability to even think in a way that should use logic in some way. ALAS put that all aside, the light calls me for the last time.

Not really a trip but I thought I'd post it here since I haven't really gotten over it. I'm surprised I haven't been left worse off.
A few years ago I smoked weed with my friends. The first time, I barely got high, so it wasn't bad. The last time I smoked weed was at a campfire--a paltry 4 hits from a blunt. I was having a panic attack the whole night that night and couldn't calm down, and it was made worse by the fact that we nearly got in trouble with the law as well. I felt like I couldn't even walk straight. I couldn't see straight. Everything was 2d.
That night was pretty bad. I told myself I'd never try it again--I even had some lasting effects (which people laugh at me when I say this, but i'm certain). My face would always feel like cotton for a few weeks. Showers especially felt weird. It was pretty strange, but not really too alarming.
Fast forward to a week ago or so. I'm hanging out with some friends and one of them is about to smoke weed. Since the last experience I had was so far away, I couldn't really recall exactly how bad it was. I figured that was an outlier and that I would enjoy myself. So I tried to take it easy, I only took 2 or so hits from a joint this time. I was pretty sure I wouldn't over-do it and I'd be able to manage the panic if I had any. I was wrong.
Almost as soon as I felt myself coming up, I could already tell it was going to be pretty bad. I instantly felt like I was being watched from all angles, which the fact that it's illegal in my state made that worse. I knew I wasn't, but the feeling didn't go away. We went inside. The whole night I ended up trying to talk, but I couldn't hold a conversation. I couldn't keep up with what was going on around me. I even thought that we had been caught by police when we clearly had not, insisting to my friend (who had smoked way more weed and was somehow way less high) that he was lying to me. That being said, I had the presence of mind to sit there quietly and try not to rub off on other people. The panic was pretty overwhelming though. I went through some very strange things, but I'm going to refrain from saying them, because they'll sound dumb.
I've been having issues with DP/DR ever since. I probably should have expected it with my history of anxiety. I shouldn't have done it. But I did, because I didn't remember how bad the last time was, and now I can't type this without it sounding all contrived. Or do anything that's real.
I'm just hoping that this will go away soon.
Moral of the story : If you think something sucked in the past but you weren't sure, don't try it again to make sure

Damn that is like kicking dead whales down the beach. Sadly weed isn't for everybody and I'm sorry that this happed to you.
I've had similar panic/anxiety attacks happen usually when I'm high around people I don't know very well.
The second time I smoked weed I smoked way too much and I had the same experience where "everything was 2d". I didn't know how to put it into words but I know now that's exactly how I felt.
On a related note, recently (last year) I started getting anxious more when I smoke by myself: paranoid thoughts, hearing soykaf. So I took a long break and a couple days ago I smoked again, it was fun. Little to no anxiety.

Ingested 360mg DXM
Took Uber home from work, had a nice conversation with the driver.
8:30
No Noticable effects, music seems a little nicer, could be the way it was mastered. I can hear each instrument in its own spatial position in my headphones.
8:40
Body high slowly creeping in, losing motor control to a very small degree.
9:00
Feel really calm, mild sense of mental numbness.
Music sounds so relaxing.
9:10
So it begins...
Giggling at this entry because it's funny and the music I'm listening to is amplifying the experience.
9:20
Finding it hard to focus, motor control moderately impaired.
Visual distortions in still images, they look as if they are moving.
Going to go play some videogames and chat with my friends.
9:30
I am LOCKED to my seat, it feels like the most comfortable place on the planet.
9:45
Motor skills severely impaired, vision is distorted, going to lie in the dark and sink into the experience a bit.
10:00
Seeing highly repetitive aztec patterned CEV.
10:15
Playing a video game. The people here are being rude so I'm going to close it.
10:27
I really want to lie down.
10:45
Took a bath, going to listen to music.
11:00
Fell asleep.

same.
Also, I'd like to point out that weed *definitely* can induce trips. Being "really high" is just a mild trip.
Just remind yourself you're tripping and you'll be fine.

Especially on edibles--I've been in states that were pretty much indistinguishable from tripping.
Full disclosure, I'm a massive lightweight with THC. Like some people say they're a cheap date, but damn am I sensitive to it. I done just about every drug under the sun--from heroin to ayahuasca--and I function about the same as the next person on anything else. But for me weed isn't even a social or occasional thing. It's a committed and planned-for experience.
I'm cool with that. It's actually pretty handy, I'm grateful for my neurochemistry or whatever makes me this way.

last-last time I did shrooms went very wrong. I won't elaborate but it had me shook (like I'd recall the trip months after and start to feel some of the effects again, like everything around me was heavy and warm, like being digested)
anyway, 10 months later, one of my best friends asked if I wanted to do any as part of a holiday bike ride we were planning. I said yes, provided its at a mini-dose.
he weighed me 0.5g and off we went to this park by the harbour with a sweet view of the mountains and port
it was sunny, perfect conditions. I took it with pizza. I decided to drink some beer too since I read it can help with the indigestion and anxiety (must say, it did)
we sat there listening to music, occasionally talking. one of our other friends came by, but he was talking about pursuing girls and it made me really anxious - luckily, I managed to concentrate on breathing/feeling fine (since his situation didn't directly concern me) and the rush of madness dissipated
later I and the friend who did take shrooms started talking about China and how intense the totalitarianism is - that coulda gone wrong too, but the idea of a billion-person mosh-pit was funny
finally, we biked out to this other park along the coast to watch fireworks with some of his roommates
by this point, I was on the come down, but wow was that little ride nice...likewise, the ride back home (at this point I was defs not high) was incredible, the cool summer night air and the quiet streets and the trees passing by (and just the speed I guess) were all enthralling
went to bed happy

Need some opinions on my trip two months ago.
>get acid from a different dealer
>dealer good for weed but tester didn't arrive in time so we just thought fuarrrk it
>tabs seem slightly thicker
>friend told me to swallow tab after it had been in my mouth for a few moments to minimise risk in case it was something different (not sure about this but we all swallowed)
>1 friend done 3 tabs, me and another done 2 (do not know the strength)
>friend that done 3 tabs did not have a bad trip, had a few moments of bad times but talked himself out of it
>he cannot remember most of what happened that day
>me and other friend panicked the majority of the trip, felt like I had a fever, everything greyscale
>fever symptoms lasted at least 90 minutes
>I assumed we were all panicking
>could barely see in front of me at times and everyone looked sick
>friend that done 2 tabs with me was also panicked, thought police were coming to get us, randomly screaming out names like a schitzo
All three of us can barely remember what the hell we were doing most of the peak. Do you think this could have been something other than acid? We have done it together a few times before and all been pleasant experiences.
Side note, I do remember that Scott Pilgrim was on it and freaked me out. I do not recommend that film.

sounds like NBOMe or something similar, although it could very well have been real acid or something harmless like a *-LAD or ALD or 1p. About how long did it last?
Never take two tabs of something if you're not 100% sure of what it is.

Forgot to mention that it kicked in almost immediately for me, made me feel nauseous so I went upstairs for 20 minutes to take a breather.
Also, I didn't notice I typed fuarrrk. No idea how I fuarrrked that one up
>>5313
It lasted all day, we did it in the morning and visuals minimised late at night.
On that night, I was up till 5am still feeling the acid but no visuals. I had self-harming thoughts from when I got into bed at around 11/12 until I fell asleep. Not looking for pity, just including it in case it helps with anything.

My last trip was about 4g of dried shrooms. I shared it with some new friends which made at uni, I didn't entirely like them, but I just broke up with my girlfriend and was feeling very lonely, so I impulsively offered them to go out and get high on shrooms, mostly to get rid of them, since I've had them sitting in a jar for over a year, only taking them occasionally. They had never tried them before, so they were pretty excited. I suggested we ate 3/4 of the total, or 3 grams each, but other friend suggested to bring the rest just in case, big mistake.
We had just eaten before taking them, I know mushrooms take their time to work, so I told them to just wait, the first hour passed, and we were feeling nothing, a while later it was almost 1AM, still not much effect. They finally convinced me to eat the rest of the shrooms, so we divided them and ate them. The mushrooms suddenly kick, the only green lamp lighting the room now seems a vivid yellow, walls begin to breath. Friends are enjoying themselves, listening to music, they spend like 20 minutes staring out the window because of the visuals on the street. Really fun, but there's a problem, they're a bit dumb, and haven't told the rest they had taken shrooms. Now, being on 4 grams of shrooms is not something you can easily hide, besides, they've probably taken more than me against my advice.
Guy 1 is really high, suddenly takes his shirt for no reason, then puts it back on again, guy 2 is doing relatively fine. Their friends are starting to freak out a little bit, soykaf is getting intense. Anyway, they decide to go to the club, seeing how guy 1 was I suggested to get back home, before soykaf hits the fan, they don't listen, so I tell them to take care and go back home. I probably should've stayed, but at this point I was freaking a little bit and social anxiety and shrooms don't mix well, so I went back home. The following hours were... interesting to say the least, some greentext:
>I've been on shrooms three times before, I know you can forget about sleeping, since your brain feels like a runaway engine
>try it anyway.
>nope.png
>put rain noise on headphones and try again
>rain noise starts to feel creepy I switch to jazz
>as the high gets worse the time passes slower
>high me is in auto mode, I get a shower, probably thinking it'll sober me up
>nope.jpeg
>dry myself, put some underwear, get in bed
>listen to jazz again
>soykaf starts to get crazy
>I start to feel like in an ocean, moved back and forth by waves, clarity comes in waves
>on the peak of the wave I feel like I know everything
>on the bottom of the wave I feel like I don't exist and know anything
>start to loose my grip on reality
>experience things that could only be described with pure math
>I experience infinite, nothingness, being a single point lost in an infinite fractal, getting sucked in a black hole and coming out a white hole
>I feel like I don't exist, that I'm an infinitesimal slither of consciousness stacked like pages on a book
>I slowly put two and two together
>the conclusion to which I arrive hits me like a truck
>feels like I'm in a simulation and it just stopped, everything feels eerily empty and calm
>feel like I'm everyone on earth at the same time, living each life once at a time
>I think "this is it", "this is the end"
>I think nothing is real, nothing really matters, I can do anything I want
>I think I can alter reality just by thinking about it, try to summon a glass of water
>I zone out, then I regain consciousness, I take a deep breath as in I had been underwater for an eternity
>repeat multiple times
>try to rip electrical outlet out of the wall, just because I thought it wasn't real
>think of all the things I've done, how my life is put into perspective, all those things and problems feel minuscule in comparison to what I'm experiencing
>time passes slowly, I feel like a half-melted stick of butter between my bedsheets, I don't know where I stop and the bedsheets begin
>try to pull on the audio cord of my headphones
>keep pulling but I can't find the end
>everything feels like a cruel joke, I feel trapped and hopeless
>feel like I have to concentrate on staying alive to avoid falling into the void
>several hours later I am sober enough to grab my smartwatch under my bedsheets, use the smartwatch to find my phone
>find glasses
>start comprehending the situation, I'm scared to think about what happened, it feel at the brink of insanity, and anything could tip me over
>naked, lots clothes on the floor, wet towel on bed...
Friends had similar experiences, they told me they enjoyed it at first, but things quickly got awry. They went to a friends house who took care of them. Felt like soykaf for abandoning them like that, I felt like I abandon everything and everyone out of fear, just like my girlfriend, still feel soykafty and depressed about it all. During the trip I felt lot of remorse and freaked out, I thought the police would be at my door at any moment. I thought I could've killed them. Still feels awkward to talk to them. Be careful with drugs, lainons.
I took notes on my phone while I was still able to use it, but they're mostly ramblings about how irony is ironic and other stupid stuff.

You mean I'm lying? I just did weed and little doses of said shrooms up to that point, which I grew myself from a kit, in fact I posted them on here before probably a year or more ago. I can assure you that's what I felt. At some point I felt like my life as I knew it was a lie, I felt like I was in some sort of simulation or mind-boggingly complex machine, the most insane things felt like absolute truths. I even had the idea of jumping out of my window to end that "simulation", I felt notorious people like Elon Musk had come to the same conclusion I did, and used the knowledge accumulated from multiple lifetimes to get to where they are now. I even texted a person I know because I thought nothing really mattered anymore, since nothing was real I could do anything I wanted. Luckily I was sober enough to delete those messages around 5-6AM, before they were read.
Anyway, I grew those mushrooms to help my gf with her depression and ended up using them impulsively and fuarrrked things up. Just came here to vent a bit.

I dunno... Ever done a good heavy dose of DMT? Explanations of experiences such as these certainly may do some editorializing or interpreting after the fact, but such is what we do with all our memories, even the sober ones. This isn't far off from experiences I've had. But in most cases, yeah, hallucinogens don't quite do this. I wouldn't be so sure in my judgement however.
Unknown · 2020-02-26 05:30
>>5328
what? M8, everyone has to put their memories into words at one point, and there's quite a loss of accuracy when that translation takes place.
Trying to describe the indescribable is futile but >>5327 tried valiantly. Who cares if they didn't experience what you experience.
The last time I actually tripped I ate a tiny amount of shrooms(just barely enough to trip) and went hiking. My roommate gave me a ride to/from the trailhead. I was saying hello to all the trees and birds and fungi, it just felt wonderful to walk around and be under the sky and be alive.
When I got home I made myself some tea and stared out the window for about two hours. My head felt empty, every time I thought something, even simple things like "I'm hungry" it would come apart and go nowhere. It was nice.

>Trying to describe the indescribable is futile
I cringe writing this, but I'll just say I tried contacting PBS space time (a channel on youtube about physics and space) to tell them what I had experienced and that I had all the answers, so yeah... That didn't went well since I couldn't use my computer at that point, all I could do was get stuck on random pages, eventually I got tired and left the computer on the whole night. One of the things I remember as I was coming down is hearing the computer fan rev up and down just as it does normally, but I thought it was being controlled by my mind, like more activity in my brain made the fan turn faster to cool it down. Also I thought I was able to summon the cars that past down the street just by thinking about it (I just heard the noises but didn't see them). Cause and effect seemed to have flipped, I wasn't hearing the car because it just drove down the street, the car appeared and drove down the street because I created it in my mind and recreated the sound.
The thing that amazed me the most of the whole experience is switching between being so sure of everything and some moments later questioning everything, some inane things I was presented with seemed logically bulletproof, looking back it makes me cringe. But it made me see mental health in a new way, some people really have no control over what they see or feel or think, even if it makes no sense, just like I had no control either. It's the closest experience to being insane I've had, and probably ever will.

I have since had worse anxiety. I need to pee more often and sometimes cannot pee when anxious enough. I also get very hot. I can't do drugs without feeling anxious about losing control of my brain. I also cannot reflect or recognise emotions at all.

Did 900mg dxm poli and hit 3rd plat more or less. Totally detached from my body for 3-4 hours and had interesting visual effects, primarily green laid over black. Saw some boats and trains. Went on a rant to a small discord (12 people I've known online for about four years) about flesh demons, but I don't remember that. I do remember vaguely seeing them as well as dwarves. I was disassociated moderately for a total of twelve hours.
