Are there any off the shelf supplements that help with working out? I've been working out for four months and I haven't lost any weight, (drifts between 220 and 225). I'm trying to get my body into a healthy weight. any recommendations or are they all just scams?

you do not change thermodynamics
you want to lose your weight, just fix your diet
start counting calories and weighing everything
supplements will make just soykaf worse as they are calories
if you want to be skinny dyel you are fine with eating pizza a day, though if you want to be also actually healthy and muscular have high protein diet (lean meat, eggs, cottage cheese, greek cheese).

Vitamin and mineral supplements are okay if you have a deficiency. Vitamin C tablets make a nice substitute for sweets but mostly because you won't want more than one. Protein supplements are good if you're building a lot of muscle. Otherwise just diet and exercise like a normal person.

Calculate your TDEE, remember that lifting is a soykaf exercisize for weight loss, as nothing really matters more than TDEE. Yes, calories are just calories, but then there's your health and other soykaf.
Generally:
low-fat diets should be protein focused so you lose less muscle
low-carb diets should be fat focused so you are not tired all the time (though they are soykaf for fat loss as you will binge on carbs)
but still, any diet is based on caloric deficit. 2200 is still a lot, I do 1100 and I get quite good results, you have to find a method that works for you - for me it was interminent fasting + if in fast and hungry just eat something small and fat (nuts etc). I call them keto-fasts lol. So basically yeah, you can eat anything you want, just do not fuarrrk up your vitamins (take off the shelf vitamin a-z and you should be fine).
the pic is how my diet looks like.

"Working out" isn't going to help you lose weight, if by working out you mean weights. Anaerobic exercise, like weights, build muscle. Aerobic exercise, like running, eats fat. But only after 20 minutes of exercise, that's the secret. Up until the 20 minute mark you are just burning glucose. Pace yourself and keep working at a good rate and everything over 20 minutes is money in the bank.
Running, swimming, skipping rope, cycling, if you're at the gym the treadmill and stationary bike, aerobics, Tae-bo, whatever you can keep up for over 20 minutes.
As far as supplements go, I just take a multivitamin and fish oil. If you have actual meat and vegetables in your diet an not just processed pap and empty carbs, that's enough.
Just remember to drink enough water and wear good shoes, and don't go crazy and get shin splints running up dunes.

The only things that really work are anabolic steroids, SARMS, prohormones, stimulants, blood doping and DNP. Creatine and whey protein are ok but every other supplement is a waste of money when it comes to athletic performance and "gains".

you need to eliminate carbs in your diet (no more than 30 grams a day) by switching to nuts, meat, and salads only and drink 2 gallons of water a day. you will lose 10 pounds in a week.

Do some research on the keto diet. A few people I know have tried it and were pretty successful. You basically cut out sugars and carbs from your diet so your body relies on stored fats for energy. This one is good because if you are eating high-protein and high-fat foods you will feel full. Most people fail at diets because they arent sticking to them.
