There have only been two times in my life when I've ever been high on THC. The first time, when I was 14, I had to smoke five joints in a row before I felt anything. Other times, I tried smoking as many as three joints in a row and felt nothing.
The high when I was 14 was sort of like everything slowing down drastically, and the thought of "passing out high" kept repeating in my head.
On Thursday, almost 20 years later, I got high on THC again, but this was definitely a very different experience. I drank 30mg of THC from those THC-infused beverages (I drank 3 cans, each one containing 10mg of THC). I bought six cans in total and I had planned to drink all six of them at once, but, thankfully, I stopped after three. Eventually, I was hit with an extremely unpleasant onslaught of massive anxiety, paranoia, and panicking, and I paced around the house in a state of profound mental unrest while also experiencing nausea, dry mouth, and vomiting. I genuinely felt like I was going to die.
Now, several days later, I'm still feeling the aftereffects, including nausea, trouble eating, greatly increased anxiety, jitteriness, paranoia, difficulty concentrating or paying attention, racing thoughts, and weird bodily sensations.
How long is this going to last? I was told that a THC high is pleasant and relaxing, but this soykaf is just fuarrrking horrible. And why am I still feeling it?

I respond to it similar to you. It takes around a week to go away.

30mg is a massive dose for someone with zero tolerance, you should have done 5-10mg.

>when I was 14, I had to smoke five joints in a row before I felt anything.
What the hell? Why would you smoke five in a row and that without feeling anything, i dont know what puzzles me more, the fact that you did five in a row or that you felt nothing or both.
I think your cannabinoid receptors are broken or something, you should have passed out from this.
And why would you drink three cans in a row?
Now you wonder why you feel sick?
You should be careful with drugs, even thc.
I had similar experiences when i started, its scary but it will pass in a few days, the weird after effects are unpleasent, but its not so bad and just keep in mind its all in your head.
Try doing something to take your mind off it, do some sort of activity, go on a long hike or whatever.
These sorts of sensations go away for those who use thc regularly and you can get used to it.
You feel this way because the receptors must compensate for the chemical overflow, what goes up must come down, this is your body getting back to baseline, i know it feels like it will last forever but it will go away and you wont even remember it all that negatively, much like you get over a cold quickly.

Thank you. I vomited again last night, and I forgot to mention that I'm also experiencing chills, which have been regular since I drank the THC. As of today, I'm still feeling the aftereffects.
Does any amount of THC have this effect on you, or just large amounts?

I have some kind of weird body chemistry where most drugs have no real effect on me whatsoever. When I got my wisdom teeth taken out, the dentists had an extremely hard time gassing me; I had to go to several different dentists before they were finally able to (I later took a soykafton of the opiate painkillers that they gave me to try to get high, but I didn't feel anything). The one time I ate a bunch of hydrophonic psilocybin mushrooms, I didn't feel anything other than a bit jittery/on edge (which is consistent with a very small dose of shrooms, but this wasn't a very small dose by any means). Opiates have no effect on me either. The last time I tried opiates, I snorted 2 entire roxycodone pills and didn't feel anything. Prior to that, I had snorted 3 Percocets and didn't feel anything. It's the same with alcohol. When I drink very large amounts of alcohol, it generally doesn't make me feel anything other than achy, red, flushed, extremely nauseous, and very depressed (which makes me think that I'm allergic to it). I get no buzz off of nicotine/tobacco either.
The highest that I've ever been was when I managed to swallow 80 DXM cough gels and I was in a completely dissociated trance - in another dimension, sunken into the couch - for several hours. I was never able to swallow that many cough gels again, though.
With that said, I am EXTREMELY sensitive to side-effects from medications, and I will often experience very rare side-effects that 99.9% of people never experience.

People under hypnosis aren't affected by drugs. Most of what we experience is fake, all a matter of suggestion and belief.

That was a very long explanation of how you reacted to all the other drugs that were not weed/THC. If you found 30mg THC was a massive overdose try 5-10mg next time, its that simple.

My experiences with THC and THC-A(?) have been largely negative.
I think smoking weed is the best way to ingest this class of psychoactives, since the dose can be upped carefully and the effects are felt immediately. It seems pretty well established that the balance between these compounds is also a factor in the experience.
So in the case of oral THC-A, even at doses that were just at threshold, I felt overall bad. Anxious, perhaps a bit nauseous. In the case of pot brownies, I clearly overdosed, unable to sleep, severe nausea, anxiety the day after - but those effects all left me. The nausea is among the worst symptoms because something like pain can be "toughed out", you can take painkillers etc. Nausea is orthogonal and can't properly be ignored. I tried showering, and that might have helped. I think that having CBD might have helped too, working somehow opposite to THC.
Literature seems to support that overdoses of this kind can cause psychosis. As much as a third of the population seem to get nausea from weed. I think this needs to be talked about more.
My best experience was that of smoking it. I felt giddy and relaxed, somewhat euphoric. I giggled a lot. I also, as with the other experiences, became completely helpless in terms of working memory. I knew where I was, what I was doing. But I did not know where the cigarette was, I misplaced my phone on the table in front of me, and I had to rely on placing all my items in my pockets so I could check them, in order, if I wanted a particular item. The day after, I felt like my brain had been "reset", refreshed - most likely happy to have a break from the stresses of work. However, I did feel a bit anxious/paranoid, worrying that - a lot more than usual - that people were paying attention to me. It was so blatantly chemical in origin that I recognized it as such, but a different person might not be able to.
If I was an old, retired man, I could see myself smoking it again when I have gaps in my schedule. But there are decided downsides to the drug, much like alcohol (barring the physical harm alcohol has on the system, but so does smoking - although differently and to different degrees).

OP here. For some reason, I started feeling those aftereffects again today, even though it's now been over a month since I drank the THC drinks.
Is this the last of the THC leaving my system?

sorry to say this but you were assigned COP at birth, you are a policeman and a child, that's why you can't handle a little bit of weed
