Hey guys. I tried LSD for the first time on Sunday, and my brain didn't react well to it. I did a 200 microgram tab and I ended up fading in and out of consciousness for 3 hours. Then I tripped balls for the 17 hours following. I feel mostly normal now, but my mind feels super foggy. I'm not getting any HPPD visuals, but I feel hung over or something. I'm able to compute things relatively well, but it's hard to focus or communicate with others. Have any of you had an experience like this? What should I do to get out of this situation? I'm going back to school in a month and I'd prefer it if I could get back up to speed before then. I might want to add that when I recovered from that state, I was having a really bad trip. I hypothesize that this could just be stress, but I want to be open to all possibilities. Make your stories known to me, anons. I'm going into my third year at a competitive school for CS.... will I still be able to make it?

LSD is pretty hardcore for someone new to drugs, especially if you have no psychedelic experience. LSD lasts for 8-12 hours and has a time dilation component. The aftereffects of LSD last for about half a day as is usual for a substance used as a psychedelic. If you're still interested in drugs buy a test kit unless you're happy with getting any of the possible fakes and have the experience and knowledge to recognise them, research your drugs thoroughly on erowid and psychonautwiki to know what to expect and for the love of Lain start with more easygoing drugs at more easygoing dosages.

In a similar vein, I once ingested a saturated tab of DOC with something from 4-6mg when I was expecting ~2mg. Was my first time with a phenethylamine and I was not ready for how powerful and "pushy" the stimulation would be. Got pretty wigged out (tripping balls paired with 40 hours without sleep was a bad mix) and had trouble integrating back into normal life, but after a month or two of sobriety everything was fine. Most of the reason I think you're a "poser" is because you're so angry. It's pretty rare for serious acid heads to be that confrontational.

17 hours is reasonable to me, the after-effects can last a long time. If it tasted strongly or made your tongue go numb then it was not LSD. Fading in/out of consciousness is certainly very unusual. In any case just give it time and you'll get back to normal life; at least, tell yourself that.

OP here. Sorry for being MIA. I took a break from using my phone and stuff for about a week and I started exercising. For the most part I feel a lot better and it feels like fish oil helps a ton. The fog has lifted for the most part but when I look at patterns on the walls or floors, they seem to breathe, which I don't really mind since it looks pretty sick. I tested another tab from the same strip and it was totally legit. My buddy took the same dose and was perfectly fine. Maybe there was an accident and my tab just had way more in it. >>2101 I've used shrooms like 5 or 6 times before. I guess my trips lasted longer than most people's (i'd go from 8 to 12 hours on 2.5 to 4 grams) but for the most part I was fine. Thanks for the advice guys. My dealer told me that 150 was a normal dose and I guess it was my fault for insisting on getting a bigger dose, but it still felt hundreds of times more intense than shrooms since I could barely see my hand in front of my face at the beginning. Regardless I shouldn't risk doing psychadelics again if it happens to actually be an issue with my brain.
