I have been interested in the potential implications that psychedelic visuals have for the average sober human and how they think and was wondering if there is any data. I have not tried them myself except for HBWR, which lacked any visual experience except for enhanced light and colour near the end (previously it was hell, but this part was pretty comfy). have you noticed any correlation between colour psychology and psychedelic experiences, for example? or can you tell me what effect fractals may have on the sober mind? anecdotal insights are great but I would also like more scientific conclusions from large numbers of people. this is just my personal interest and I am not educated or experienced in any of this.

The change in color perception is extremely strong and life-changing from my experience, but you do not appreciate it as much because loss of ego and implications of it on your life really overshadows everything else. After all, it happens at once. So even though, color changes are crazy, you do not focus on it.
You can have extreme changes in color perception, even have glimpses into completely new colors you have not experienced before, or you suddenly realize words and impressions have colors, such as "7x7=49" starts to feel orange. It also makes people completely ignorant to art suddenly get a deep understanding of composition and proportions in such a way that you know where to walk and stand and to look at a certain angle at something to get aesthetic high. You realize on a deeper level how legendary artists use color to evoke some impression. You THINK you are aware how they do it kind of, but it turns out you really don't, until you look at such art with a psychedelic.
But all in all, yes, you can have incredible and valuable revealations about colors perception... and in the end, you do not care much because at the same time you are getting revelations way more important than that. Suddenly you get raw insights into your life that are worth tens of millions of $ if you were to listen to them. So you kind of ignore and forget the color stuff.

did you notice any constants that carried over or how colour worked on your mind before the experience?

really wish more people would document their psychedelic experiences too
if it helps working out for long enough to the point of absolute exhaustion while meditating helps your color perception get closer to the real thing too.
