I'm an AuDHDer and stims deretardify me and btfo my depression+anxiety, but they're atrocious for my physical health and I feel like messing around with hard drugs is probably bad. What can I do and don't give me some "meditation" or "therapy" soykaf. I've tried every supplement known to man and nothing works. I just want my thoughts to be organized and motivated enough to be able to like function and talk to people and do my homework.

Same, I also really hate how stims make me not really feel invested in anything other than to just be doing it. Umm dissociatives work extremely well for me, but I have developed a habit with them. Currently in a bad ket flu lmao. I would say though other than that just being okay with your circumstance and enjoying it in an open way helps. I mean this in a Heideggerian sense.

ok just like with anything there's no easy fix and you have to put in the effort. that said, there are some hacks. what you need is to experience somatic bliss, this cancels out the turmoil that your nervous system is accustomed to feeling since an early age try sitting in a hot tub, steam room, or sauna for more than 15 minutes. when you feel that its time to get out, stay more. stay, and stay, and relax, completely relax, feel the discomfort, as well as the new deep comfort, and tell yourself 'i'm fine', and know that you are. if dankbud suits your fancy, do it while high. this a few times will reprogram your nervous system you can also induce a light trance by hyperventillating to heavy percussion, but you should have someone irl teach you breathwork as it is hard to communicate the rhythm through text

the methylphenidate class of stimulants tends to be easier on body than (meth)amphetamines, i would suggest dexmethylphenidate or 4f-mph, also don't use it every day but maybe only like 3 times/week. i was given a novel acetylcholinisterase inhibitor one time that gave me a full 8 hours of energy without the change to heart rate, it felt amazing. unfortunately it was made in the kitchen of its inventor and the formula was not published anywhere. it was supposed to be a nicotine analogue, iirc but it felt nothing like nic.

Use it to your advantage. Do things at twice the speed a normal person does, then rest longer. I can't keep attention if a video is under x2, and x2 feels slow. Most people brain fires a single path, mine activates everything in many parallel paths, so making a decision is a lot harder for me but I'm unbelievably creative, but others can take simple decisions that allow them to function as a normal person in society. When my brain fires lots of actions I write them down in a list to catch them (have a way to take notes nearby at all times), then play "optimize time" game to prioritize them, then play "do now" game to complete list in impossible time. People still think I'm weird but never mistake me for retarded.

>>16999 ...also depression comes from distorted thinking. Change thinking. When catch self thinking bad about self challenge it, and refuse it! It is usually distorted thinking about self-esteem. Accomplishing what you planned builds confidence, more confidence raises self-esteem.

>>17009 >acetylcholinisterase inhibitor Hmm... That makes me think whether trying to increase acetylcholine by natural means could be useful? Maybe something like supplementing with Citicoline and Acetyl-L-Carnitine?
