any other anons with a fuarrrked spinal cord? what reacreational drugs have you tried post injury? how did it go? anyother drug recommendations you have for any other criplleanons? im quadraplegic, when trying a dmt cart i only took a small test hit, felt a body load and got barely any distortions but once it died down my leg spasms went crazy, which was extremely uncomfortable i tried again off 4mg clonazepam but it barely helped the spasms after some reasearch im pretty sure any serotonergic drug (dmt, lsd, psilocibin, mescaline, mdma) will cause spasms :( been meaning to try ketamine but cant find anything about its effects on someone with a SCI hopefully theres someone else on here who can drop some knowledge

I wonder what zolpidem (Ambien) would do to someone in your state. There had been cases of people in comas waking up from it temporarily, and people with brain injuries such as from a stroke restoring function temporarily plus people sleepwalk on it so it definitely does something weird to the central nervous system.

>>16867 >zolpidem inhibition is for pussies, stimulants are way better .

>>16868 Zoloidem can cause hallucinations but what I was getting at is I was curious if it would or wouldn't make OP momentarily not as quadriplegic. I guess it depends on the kind of damage done.

>>16867 >>16879 interesting, the damage was done by inflammation which left scarring i have a couple 3.5mg eszopiclone, might give them a try

> Block of NMDA receptors may lead to unwanted psychotomimetic and hemodynamic effects, which limits the use of high dose. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10649910/ First one you want but an effect on blood flow is where it's hard to tell how much an issue that would be since that study didn't test high doses and was just referencing a study that didnt have to do with spinal injury. Seems hard to find anecdotes and most studies focus on pain management which usually dont use high enough doses to go into a K hole. If someone has more medical knowledge they could maybe explain this, in fact you even could just straight up ask a doctor or pharmacist and it won't even seem the least big suspicious. Salvia divinorum would be another possible recreational drug since it's not serotinergic as far as I am aware. I haven't personally done it but heard it's best to keep your eyes closed. In fact it traditionally is used to treat inflammatory conditions and pain so I imagine it might not be an issue but i cant find any info on anyone with a SCI using it. >>16889 I'm not sure it would have the same bizarre unexplained effects reported with zolpidem has but that is one option. You would just have to keep awake lol https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Eszopiclone How long has it been since your SCI? Are you on any medication? Knowing interactions also is good to know.

>>16899 >How long has it been since your SCI? almost 3 years >Are you on any medication? pregabalin, baclofen and random vitamins/supplements sorry for late reply made this thread on ativan and just remembered about it lmao how manageable is ketamine without holing? like is it possible appear sober while on it or is it pretty obvious?

>>16867 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28534652/ id assume itd have more of an effect on people with brain injuries my issue is that theres scarring in my spinal cord preventing the signals from my brain reaching where they should, not that my brain cant send the signals, which there really isnt any options to try to overcome that
