My mind goes blank when I need to interact (I should mention that I think I enjoy smoking and talking, but I'd like to make the most of it as a social activity)."

Electric Wizard is good. DOWN, Sleep, Bongzilla, and Arctic are other good ones.
If you like these I'd really recommend checking out more Louisiana Sludge (Crowbar, eyehategod, etc). Both scenes are tangential to each other.

Stoner metal, power noise, and sludge are the best to listen under the influence of a second plateau dose of dextromethorphan mixed with oberacetam.
Third plateau is more for electronic music. Something nostalgic, hopeful to withdraw into the void to.

Well, if you like the heavy slug stuff, the newer albuns of Darkthrone nails it, specially if you're a fan of old school metal.
