What are the most obscure and unique drugs you've tried or heard of? Are there any weird research chemicals, random plants, or other drugs that have really unusual effects you don't find in the more common ones? And what do you think the most underrated drugs are?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

>>15939 >Weird The Hallucinations you get from motion sickness medicine can be pretty intense... It's almost on par with nutmeg as far as stupidity goes depending on how you use it >Devil's Breath is made from several plant species. One of these is called Brugmansia, also known as "Angel's Trumpet" for its large, trumpet-shaped flowers. While they're native to South America, they're also ornamental plants that are popular across the United States and other parts of the world since they're both elegant and fairly easy to care for. >Angel's Trumpet, however, contains various belladonna alkaloids, which include atropine, hyoscyamine, and scopolamine (Devil's Breath). The roots and seeds of Angel's Trumpet have the highest concentrations of alkaloids, though ingesting the raw flowers, smoking the dried leaves, or drinking tea brewed using any part of the plant can cause serious side effects. Because it's so widely available, young adults often use Angel's Trumpet for recreational purposes as a hallucinogen.

I heard of bremelanotide is a medication for women with low sex drive but I heard it works on men too. This is different from Viagra which only increases blood flow this actually makes someone horny but no one really gets how that works. It has an odd side effect of darkening skin in some parts of the body. Sinicuichi I never hear spoken of on here. It sometimes causes yellow of blue tint to vision. Supposedly traditional users claim it lets them see the past perhaps triggering vivid memories but i cant find good documentation on this or trip reports anyone mentioning it.

Why don't you tell us more about the diphenidine instead? What makes it so unique? Where can you get one? Does it have any unique challenges for users?

>>15939 Not the most obscure, but interesting nonetheless: Yopo. It's a bean with DMT that you snort instead of smoke. You crack the shells, cook it a while, grind it, and then insufflate the powder. >you are meant to tell us more about the topic, and not just fill it with soykaf What am i? A writer? OP never asked to elaborate and site's rules aren't worth abiding >What makes it so unique? It's not unique, there's a whole class of that shhhit and many popular drugs share similarities with it, i've never tried the popular ones, though. So it stood out quite a lot to me. Low dosages are unremarkable but felt pretty decent, still feel like a waste. High ones always gave me some insignificant short-term memory loss and a retard-esque delirium. Felt much safer than cholinergics with no unpleasant physical side effects or extremely vivid visual hallucinations, music was great and i could actually finish some chores while at it. I feel like it's the kinda thing that works differently for everybody so there's no point in writing out detailed trip reports >Where can you get one? DIY obviously, i wouldn't trust anyone else. It's fairly simple and straightforward, aside from obtaining piperidine, that one is hard. But like i said there's a whole class of those 'dines you can aminate stilbene with pretty much any primary or secondary amine and it'll maybe, probably, most likely become psychoactive. Amination is a fairly straighforward procedure. Although, i heard that the other amines often do have some quite scary physical side effects. Oh and stilbene can be made by chlorinating toluene, that's how i did it, but that's kinda violating the geneva convention and all that, a manageable risk, just don't do the whole thing in your bedroom.

>>15950 Piperidine is literally just an extract of peppercorns. Lol piperine is anywhere from 1-10% of black pepper so piperidine content should be around same. Most of it gets absorbed into the body.

>Piperidine is literally just an extract of peppercorns I am literally using 89% of my whole brain trying to refrain from offensive language >piperine is anywhere from 1-10% Closer to 1 >so piperidine content should be around same Where's the causal link? You're employing literal crackhead logic, please sober up. Piperidine could be obtained by hydrolyzing piperine and there are obviously major diminishing returns when doing so. Extracting piperidine from peppers isn't a route you should pursue. You'll need a bag of leafs to get a line of cocaine and it's even worse with peppers. You're going to waste liters of valuable solvents and obscene amounts of (relatively worthless) pepper for barely traceable amounts of impure trash. A kilogram of pepper would give you a couple grams of piperidine at best. You wouldn't forge a sword by extracting iron from hemoglobin. Now i am not greedy, a couple grams could very well suffice, but purity is still an issue. And i don't know about you, but i have a strict work ethic and expend the minimum amount of effort possible. If i was forced to resort to extracting pepper alkaloids to obtain piperidine, i would consider working with more easily available amines like pyrrolidine or methylamine.

>>15952 Why did you decide in favor of such a soykafty substance as diphenidine? It was available as RC for a while, and while it was definitely better than ephenidine, the ethylamine instead of piperidine version, it was still very soykafty. You could have made the holy grails Ketamine, MXE and 3-MeO-PCP instead. (Not from the same precursors, ofc, but just us manageable as the ones for diphenidine)

How do they compare? >You could have Please consider abstaining from mind altering substances for the time being. I have no idea how you came to such a far-fetched conclusion with practically zero contextual information, but i in-fact, could not produce anything from your subsequently mentioned "holy grail" Making ketamine is a waste of time and effort, you can just buy it at a pharmacy. And both MXE and *PCP are substances that have little in common with diphenidine. They are made from very different "precursors" that are followed by quite different reactions. There are no convenient ways of producing ketamine, and it's analogues are even more of a headache. Won't comment on PCP since i know little about it and it's manufacturing process, my personal experience is very narrow. >Not from the same precursors, ofc, but just us manageable as the ones for diphenidine Piperidine required for diphenidine is already non-managable. It was a gift from the lady Fortune and lately she's in a bad mood. *etamine precursors are also quite a hurdle, but the safety guidelines i'll have to abide while working with those precursors are an even bigger one Grignard is out of the question, i don't even have a stable vacuum source. Looking for alternative routes, making ketamines through diazophenylacetonitrile would subject my feeble human body to sulfur oxides, cyanides, mercury and many other unsafe substances that i wouldn't rather avoid. Besides, even if i manage to scrape some mercury from a sodium lamp, where am i going to obtain concentrated hydrogen peroxide required for the *phenylcyclohexane*? I had no proper prior experience with dissociative drugs. They don't have much of a recreational potential, not for me. And i am certainly not interested in any long-term fluff. You seem to enjoy MXE and *PCP a lot, enjoy it while it lasts. But i wasn't doing diphenidine because i enjoy dissociating, it was merely an exercise. I enjoy assembling mind altering substances almost as much as abusing them, and i obviously prefer experimenting with simpler ones instead of leaping straight into the modern analogue scene. I also already mentioned that i have a strict work ethic. I do not order anything online, i do not posses any glassware or professional equipment, i get all my soykaf from the nearest grocery store and my local homedepot replica. Even in such harsh conditions the amount of procurable psychoactive substances is bordering on hundreds, i am still only scratching the surface. Unfortunately that's all i am good for...

Had the chance to try "LSZ" (Lysergic acid 2,4-dimethylazetidide) back in 2013 as a research chemical. It's now derezzed almost everywhere. And AL-LAD (6-allyl-6-nor-LSD) a few month later, 2014 maybe, from the same and only supplier. They both really close to LSD but LSZ felt.. how do I'd say it? "Darker"? But in a good way? Can be entirely subjective tho. AL-LAD was one of the best LSD analog that ever existed, it's now derezzed almost everywhere too. Shorter trip than LSD but way smoother, almost no bodyload. Only good feelings. I'm pretty sure I have a few tabs left in long-term storage.

I'll use this thread. I love dissociatives, I have no desire to try dxm. Well, maybe I will at some point, but I digress. What are some good niche ones that are easily accessible with the typical shutin method? I heard MXE was going around a month ago but the prices were insane, for that price I would rather spend my money on archival designer lol. Something maybe a little less long lasting but not as short as K would be ideal.

I tried galangal tea once. Galangal is a root, a relative of ginger, commonly used in Thai cooking. It has a flavour like ginger mixed with wood. I sliced a large root thinly and boiled it for half an hour, and drank the result. The strong flavour scorched my throat. The effect was similar to being drunk but without the elevation that comes from alcohol. It was like I had dialed down my intelligence. Pretty frightening, for some time I thought I had permanently given myself brain damage. It wore off after a couple of hours with no lingering side effects. For an ultra cheap and accessible dope it works alright.

>>16911 I never got the chance to grab any LSZ at the time but I echo your sentiment on AL-LAD, it's great. By the way, it maybe be hard to get AL-LAD itself now but the cyclopropyl prodrug (1cP-AL-LAD) is pretty available ;)

>>17972 this is placebo of all placebos galangal is used in several thai dishes here all the time and i did not grow up eating them so there isnt some "tolerance", i live in the states. it is literally just like turmeric or ginger there is nothing that would do this. It isnt rare they sell it at any asian grocery store, its a spice. And it is not like nutmeg or something where eating a lot does it, there is whole ass chunks of galangal in some soups.

>>18050 what is it you think this is supposed to say, its a singular uncited blurb about it being used as a hallucinogen in papa new guinea. Looking into it further its a bunch of other people just repeating this from very few research papers simply looking into it, and it honestly looks like it was part of a preparation involving other actually psychoactive things if the original papers werent just misunderstanding what the galangal was being used for in the first place which seems very likely. and then its very few user reports of vague inconsistent highly subjective effects that sound like you gave someone a benadryl and told them it was a percocet. If this is evidence to you I dont know what to tell you because its the complete opposite for me, go to the erowid page for something thats also widely available but actually does something like otc medicines or morning glory seeds (which are a lot more obscure than galangal which is eaten by millions) and there is 10x as much information with way more consistency. Im not doubting you had some kind of experience but its because you probably are highly suggestible and cant acquire actual drugs, and also probably live somewhere thats pretty monolithic or isolated. But hey you can submit your experience to erowid and be number 3 of "bro i tripped so hard off galangal". Im eating tom kha soup right now and im gonna eat all of it it probably has twice as much galangal as whatever tea you made and the only thing im gonna feel after is full and big yummy in my tummy.

>>18058 Yes I am aware, your galangal high is still placebo effect at its peak. There is a myriad of essential oils and plants with studies showing it "might" have some correlation with increased clarity or whatever else yet the people who try it and report actually feeling "high" compared to those who dont is within a margin of error. Whatever psychoactive potential it has isnt something you are going to be feeling (except sick maybe if you eat too much). If I secretly make everyone weed brownies almost everyone is going to report feeling high, if I make everyone a soup with galangal in it no one is going to report feeling high. You saw it Why dont you throw me some reports about how pepper and mint is psychoactive as well maybe that will really convince me, they are out there for sure. Why dont you look up tye "psychoactive" compounds that article lists for galangal beta pinene and the other which is esentially eucalyptus oil. You will find they are not psychoactive, people who do "aromatherapy" will list them as psychoactive and thats the category you fall in. People who already believe in it and ayuvedic medicine saying its like a high. The fact that you have to believe in it already or "really pay attention" is telling.

For me, it's 3C-P. It's a psychedelic phenethylamine briefly written about in PiHKAL and sold for a time as a research chemical. It's effects are somewhere between amphetamine and mescaline. The experience was odd but enjoyable. The effects weren't particularly profound psychologically, just very colorful, fun, and energetic. I distinctly remember my vision taking on a type of fisheye perspective, almost as if I was walking on a tiny planet and the colors being extremely saturated with the hues shifted somewhat towards a tertiary color scheme (blues were shifted towards teal, reds shifted towards orange, Wes Anderson color grading essentially). There was an extreme focus and tunnel vision and my body felt heavy, most of the weight being held in my hands and head. Effects lasted about 6 hours or so for me and I was left absolutely exhausted by the end of it, no pleasant afterglow to be seen. I remember it striking me as feeling particularly hard on the heart which discouraged future use.

One winter in Saint Petersburg, we tried DPT — a psychedelic that's kind of like cocaine in how it hits you. A weird but cool thing about it is that you can take more and more doses whenever you feel like your trip is fading. We had a bag of this white powder and thought we could smoke it through a pipe, but it never worked. Then we started sniffing it and even taking it orally, and ended up having quite a fun time.

Probably made us (my brothers and I bought it together then whipped up a MASSIVE batch of vape juice) a fair bit more retarded but ah well. >Mescaline Honestly better than acid. People overstretch the "It's LSD meets MDMA" line way too much though there is some truth to it. The problem with this and mescaline is that MDMA is the only one of that entire substance class that is even remotely mainstream so it's the only thing people can compare it to. It is much calmer than MDMA and much saner than LSD or shrooms. The effect duration is a manageable 4 hours with a very flexible redose schedule.
