Asians who have done MXE

When I dic MXE back in the day I was always struck by a strong sense of awareness and acceptance of my insignificance and lack of distinctness from anyone else in the worlc that I could only describe as feeling really Asian, kind of like if I lived in one of those huge apartment supertowers that look the same all over, but more than just that. Are there any Asians who tried MXE? Were you overcome by a feeling of being really American, or a sense of personal significance or of being the main character? Did you feel like everyone noticed suddenly how cool anc awesome and unique yet relatable you were? Just wondering thx pics: the weirdest image results I found searching for "air'll sike lo hecks i'll i mean"

kek, that's some funny soykaf OP. When I did MXE I'd get these intense auditive hallucinations that would amplify and distort sounds, like a truck passing from a street side room it become like a jet fighter breaking the sound barrier, the sound of the fans of my computer would turn into the "ababa" sound from those creatures from Welcome to the NHK. Ah I miss MXE, they still even make that soykaf?

>>14868 Wow, that's kind of wild. I don't recall a heavily aural basis in most of my experiences. Maybe to a degree on acid (or an nBOME idfklol). And I once ate some shrooms and spent six hours grooving hardcore to the Cisco CallManager default hold music. I am musically inclined though I hesitate to call myself a musician as I only wish I had the time to live and breath it, or honestly the simple space to enjoy some singing anymore without bothering anyone. (While feeling Really Asian I woulu guess that I might have tended toward doing it anyway, out of a feeling of being anonymous in a crowd and a diminished self-consciousness.) So maybe sound doesn't fundamentally pervade cognition enough for me, or maybe something takes precedence. I was an early reader, so a strong verbal base but also never really got hung up on subvocalizing things (the journals say, interestingly, that there are two distinct verbal imagery mechanisms -- internal speaking and internal hearing), at least not until way later, when I somehow started to lose confidence that I was really getting good comprehension of what I was reading so quickly. Also a pretty robust visualization, with rotation and manipulation of 3D forms and whatnot. But always firmly in a very separate mind's eye and, though not lacking detail when needed (or highly saturated color), it never quite feels like it reaches what I would really call "vivid". Still, maybe this much is more natural to me than however deeply I actually understand music. And what I recall mostly is indeed visual -- edges of everything enhanced, text on screen appeared embossed, and delightfully vivid spontaneous CEVs of riding a bicycle through the nicest meadow i've seen anywhere. Of course the real benefits were to mood, mindset, outlook... In ways that make me regret that I never had the diligence to keep experience reports -- always too busy enjoying the altered experience of various favorite activities to go meta about it. It was, as you know, distinctly wonderful (hopefully not uniquely), and this is why it chaps my ass endlessly to see headlines in currentyear jizzing about "COULD KETAMINE FINALLY BE THE MIRACLE CURE WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR" when any idiot who could stumble his way into Erowid or Bluelight or fuarrrkin' Zoklet or the LHG forum was on to that soykaf well over a decade ago. fuarrrking obnoxious. Anyway what I heard a few years back was that MXE is hard to make happen without some kind of expensive/specialized equipment and serious skill in some kind of annoyingly complicated and unforgiving organic chemistry soykaf, but that there were a few promising RC analogues, possibly including ones with vaguely daunting names containing "PCP". What I Hive seen someplace or other more recently is a synth that seems to offer some revolutionary new simplicity somehow, but I don't understand it at all. The comments seemed excited about it though. But I personally see no reason to be optimistic that there will ever be any more production of it in significant amounts, nor any access to what little is made or remains stashed, unless you get incredibly lucky with who you know. I still pine for it and I wish I'd had the foresight to hoard any.
