Betel Nut Chew

Anyone know a reputable place to get fresh betel nut chew (nuts wrapped in leaf with lime)? Been wanting to for half my life but only find the dried nuts available in the US.

They used to sell it at an Asian/import specialty supermarket near my house. You're not missing much, though I didn't extract it, just chewed the raw nuts. The buzz was slightly more focused than caffeine but not by much.

I have some old dry chopped nuts but no leaf, I also think I have some lime powder to mix it with. Gonna try grinding the seeds sometime soon and chew it with some lime.

That stuff has some pretty nasty effects on oral health so don't make a habit of it OP just give it a try. Though you probably already know that. Apparently you can get extracts of it if you can't find fresh nuts which I think is used differently. I found an account of someone who chews betal nut with gum to help it make less a mess so that's an interesting note to make. Maybe you should be looking up "betel nut fruit" to get the whole thing in order to have it fresher. Might be easier to find that. Alternatively maybe you could seek out cytisine for another novel nicotine like stimulant. That gets sold under the name Tabex and you can just buy it online but I haven't tried it before personally nor have I heard of cases of people using it recreationally so Im not sure how that goes. Though that is only assuming you are only seeking novelty rather than something cultural.
