Re-opening of 420Chan

So according to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbPPfqG-Dmc 420 is due to be recreated and relaunched soon! Anyone know whats up with all this?

I heard Kirt was a fed, that years ago CSIS came to recruit him against Al-Qaeda sites. Brennan is the site owner now too. Strange, because I remember in an interview he denounced anonymous sites and seemed to imply they should be monitored by the government.

I used to be on that site a lot back around 2007-2011ish. It was a fun way to waste time, bullshitting with people in /wooo/ and the various other boards. It's weird but not altogether surprising to see the direction Kirt went.

I loved 420chan, it was my first chan, and it was really my main chan until the past few years. We should do everything in our power to support it when they come back!

this was the only site I know to have an active and creative deliriant community. I refuse to touch a deliriant ever again but I used to do them a lot and the /del/ (or later /deli/) board was one of the most unique and personally valuable places on the internet.

as far as kirt being a fed its my understanding they cooperated with the police when people posted cp or attempted to deal drugs on the site and only after the activity was getting kirt in trouble. Given that he warned people not to do these things and they were against the rules and the alternative is taking the site down or getting arrested. If that’s all there is to it I get it. Kirt is obviously bad at anticipating consequences because he opened a drug themed chan and married sparto even though anyone could tell you these are bad moves.

420chan.org now redirects to leftypol.org and they don't even allow drug hobbyist discussion there.

The /b/tube community from 420chan is still a thing, barely. We had to move a couple of times, after Kirt decided he was going to make his own tube with hookers and blackjack he went Full Palpatine and decided we were no longer users, we were rivals, and broke the link from the main site. Fair warning, it's dead as fuarrrk and if it looks like we've got a lot of users, I think I can guarantee that they will all be AFK and nodded off at the keyboard. And a lot of the content is one guy who thinks we need to watch 10 hours of a livestream of a random streetcorner in Thailand, and another guy who thinks what we really need is another ten hours of farting and screaming. The rest of it is usually NATO memes set to MGMT's Little Dark Age, or Rhodesian army marching songs.
