Recreational misuse of pharma

I've always been skeptical about recreational use of pharmaceutical drugs and sticked to the street/darknet-purchased substances. However, right now I live in a place where I can't buy drugs online and local pushers are selling overpriced weak weed and soykafty cocaine which are of no interest to me. Thinking of ways on how I can get mashed, I stumbled upon the DXM-containing OTC tablets in my local pharmacy about a month ago. I've done CWE with them to get rid of paracetamol and consumed around 300mg of DXM in combo with 600mg of pseudoephedrine since I don't know how to extract this soykaf further. I planned to consume larger dose initially, but got scared of pseudoephedrine overdose. The effects were strange and felt more like an intoxication. And the feeling of emptiness in brain, motion sickness and lack of all emotions were not the things I was looking for. I'd rank it as 4/10 for now. Yet, I assume that pseudoephedrine could have worsened the experience, so I'd be glad to experiment with DXM again sometime. If any of you, lainons, knows how to extract pure dxm from pseudoephedrine-containing tablets, feel free to share the info. Anyway, this weekend I decided to give other pharma drugs a try, bought a pack of Lyrica(pregabalin) capsules and sniffed ~750mg in total. And this time I was really amazed by how clean and delightful the experience was. I haven't had neither nausea, nor drowsiness, just pure euphoria, confidence, emotional fulfilment, wakefulness, slight visual distortions, willing to talk to people and also vivid beautiful CEVs. In general, pregabalin effects felt to me like a proper balanced combination of effects of different kinds of substances. Unfortunately, pregabalin seems to have high addiction risk and a harsh withdrawal syndrome, so I'm not going to take it again any time soon. Still, it was such a lovely surprise, that I'm now interested in discovering other pharma. How was your experience with pregabalin, lainon? What pharma drugs, in your opinion, have great potential for recreational usage? What pharma drugs in general gave you the most pleasant experience and which gave you a bad time?

>>12956 I think meds don't have recreational value on their own. But there are stories of people tripping on Mirtazapine but I have no idea how safe it is, though. >https://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Pharms_Mirtazapine.shtml Some like Zaleplon, Zopiclone and ofc benzos (for me, the most recreational value I have ever had with these is good sleep and that they got rid of anxiety). Bupropion/Wellbutrin is another drug that might be of interest but pls note that it damages your veins if you inject it (so don't do that!). And at high doses it can cause heart problems and I herd that it can even cause seizures for some people. I don't know how safe it is? Also, in my country it's relatively easy to get buprenorphine from streets. > I stumbled upon the DXM-containing OTC tablets in my local pharmacy about a month ago. Please be careful with those. A lot of DXM products also contain other substances, probably most often Paracetamol aka acetaminophen. Paracetamol is very toxic to the liver even at small overdoses despite being OTC drug. I know you knew this but I wanted to warns others. > pregabalin/Lyrica seems to have high addiction risk and a harsh withdrawal syndrome Yeah, it's much like a benzo or z-drugs in that regard.

I've come to generally believe it's better to not do drugs, but yeah I've experimented with getting high on otcs before. I used to take a lot of benadryl at once. It's a high anyone could tell you is unpleasant, but for some reason I kept coming back to it. I remember one time I was on the bus talking to my friend only to realize I was in my bed not talking and what I thought was my friend was a stack of printer paper. Just wild stuff like that. Wouldn't recommend it though, makes you super nauseous and dehydrated and the high is more like some sort of psychotic episode than what you would normally call a high.

>>12973 >benadryl Many older antihistamines have anticholinergic (side-)effects that CAN include delirium.
