what your thoughts on the recreational use of DXM? imo most people that use it are 14 year olds that just wanna get high without doing anything illegal but it is still not something to fuarrrk with. I've done some pretty big doses (1- 1.3g) and that soykaf sends me to Agartha almost everytime without fail,

done it a couple times. not a huge fan, the dosage and timing is quite finicky. also i know the American thing is to do it as syrup, here you can get pills. i recommend Ketamine instead

You need to be careful and actually read the list of ingredients to make sure it doesn't contain anything that's dangerous (even small OD of Paracetamol/Acetaminophen can cause liver damage).

dxm addiction made me lose all my friends and absolutely obliterated my short-term and working memory. 1/10.

honestly was my favourite above meth, it's astonishing how legal it is to get honestly; can't use it nowadays because my tolerance is sky-high from ketamine misuse

the dxmdirect forms of freebase and dxm hbr are really good and you can choose which one works better for you in terms of nausea recommend not doing delsym, robocough is much better since it is in a pill format, 30mg per pill. Ideally you can take 12 of them (very small pills as well, I can usually take 5 at a time), you can do 3 and wait 15 minutes inbetween each and you shouldn't feel any nausea at all. Have had fantastic experiences, from full one closed eye visuals to just randomly talking to friends and going into my wall/turning into a music video. Lots of third-person dissoacition or randomly going outside in my mind. Only thing ot be careful of in the third plateau and especially 4th is to watch your breathing, sounds scary but if you are aware of it especially when you are definitely not present, you gotta get yourself under a bit of control. Best moments on dxm are when I am 100% conscious of what is happening, that I know I am high, yet I can still influence what I am seeing or where I am.

One of the most underrated drugs. Once on a high dose I saw a shapeshifting demonic reptile offering me power and wealth and naked chicks if I allowed it to possess me, it was very realistic. That soykaf was messed up, anyway in case anyone was wondering I refused the offer and he did not look happy, then he disappeared into thin air. I did not take it very seriously at the time, but I think it was a real demon

I don't understand why anyone would recreationally use this. Yuck. It just makes you feel gross in higher doses, but I've used it for opiate withdrawals at 30-60mg daily and that works pretty awesome. It's also a very strong opiate potentiator.

The reason why some people are religious about DXM and why most people think it is like kicking dead whales down the beach is a genetic difference in the amount of the CYP2D6 enzyme. If you can't enjoy getting high on cough syrup, you just ain't one of the chosen.

DXM is not my cup of tea. Everyone always claims that it was the most intense, best trip they've ever had while I would get paranoid and would have heat flashes and a general discomfort when doing the drug. Dissos were never my cup of tea to begin with but I would definitely do a line of ketamine over any form of DXM. And DXM always made me feel a really dirty high. And I couln't piss for weeks after a trip. Shitty teenager drug.

DONT take poli (delsym) that soykaf keeps u high 4 days

I seem to be blessed with the CYP2D6 enzyme. I can't describe what the fuarrrk this drug is. It's like undoing weeks of depression within 2 hours. I tripped two times on 300mg and can only describe it as third person view/seeing yourself and understanding what the fuarrrk is up with you. The closed eye visuals are really something as well. I go by the 1 week break per plat rule and it sets me back to my regular low mood. Unfortunately it shorts your memory for a week or two, but you get back if you don't abuse it. Minimum 3-4 weeks is a great time frame afaik. Just 2h ago I took a comparatively low dose of 3x 30mg (22mg hbr) and I'm so fuarrrking back. Like you believe you eat the wrong things or can't keep up with chores, are in a negative cognitive spiral and *snap* its gone.

i like it. space the dose you're taking out a bit by like 20-30 minutes and you won't get any nausea. the CEV's are great and it makes music really good. when i dose i put an album on, lean all the way back in my chair, kick my feet up on another chair and just disappear into the music

If not for the science such as the "olneysian lesions", then for the wide body of anectotal evidence, reporting loss of memory and cognitive functions: the risk of permanent brain damage is just too high in my opinion. That applies to all dissociatives afaik.

I'm pretty sure you need like over a gram of DXM to get more than itchy. Thats what we did as kids, DXM here comes in a bottle of syrup 600mg but it's full of sorbitol so you have to extract it. The result tastes awful but usually we'd all buy a few bottles from different pharmacies and extract it and take like 1200mg-1500mg per person. There was this one dude that took over 3 grams often and his nickname was DXM related on a local forum, me and my friends actually met him at a pharmacy seeing him buy cough syrup and we thought thats gotta be that dude and later on we'd talk online and it had indeed been him. Usually we'd spend a DXM night just listening to music and laying on a mattress in some small apartment, good times good times... later on I would discover ketamine and then 3-MeO-PCP, sadly missing out on MXE, but those RC's really make even ketamine feel pointlessly short. Though then again ask yourself what kind of life you're going to be living where you have time to spend half the day dissociated, and whether you would tolerate that life without the drugs.

I dont tend to go deep with dxm as i don't like how it can suddenly go from highest of highs to feeling all blue out of no where (like euphorically depressed) but i do love mixing small amounts with other substances, 45-150mg works like a charm at wringing out extra good effects from mushrooms or kratom without pushing it.

So I bought 200ml cough syrup that has 30mg of DXM per 10ml. I want to get to plateau 3 but I know it will make me nauseated and possibility throw up too. How can I prevent nausea or at the very least, not throw up?

This is a little fuarrrked but with any substance I think like well heroin or prescription painkillers and checking out is always an option right. Is this thing im about to do going to do me more harm than that. This is incredibly stupid but say I have the thought of like huffing computer duster, its like at that point id rather and it would be safer to develop a vicodin addiction or something. Its how ive significantly reduced my alcohol intake with the hope of cutting it out completely soon even with friends or at functions or whatever. This of course only works because im not addicted to heroin or painkillers and dont want to be, ive tried them and then never did again. DXM is obviously not as addictive as heroin and obviously people do it sometimes not just because its pleasurable but for other reasons. Im playing a dangerous game here because I dont remember the specifics but ive done it and also remember looking into it and finding out its just intensely taxing on your mind and body even from the otc brands that just contain dxm as the active ingredient. You soykaf your brains out from the sorbitol or whatever and from what I remember it just indiscriminately dumps your serotonin everywhere at the high dose. Im sure you know people who are fried from molly and from what I understand and what I felt its like that but worse somehow. Maybe it isnt really but I know it felt worse for me. So its a big thumbs down for me, your either swallowing a fuarrrk ton of capsules or drinking some nasty concoction that gives you diarrhea or likely worse because I know many who do dxm start to figure out when in a pinch or weak moment what extra ingredients wont kill them (but still are awful for you) just to mildly happily dissasociate. So it earns the mark for me of "Id rather go buy painkillers and get addicted to that". Its apples to oranges but im mostly talking about just what it does to your body vs the reward you might get.

does freebase have different effects from hbr and poli? it's the only one I haven't tried yet.

A low to moderate dose of DXM saves me from severe depressive episodes. I like it aside from the nausea and temperature regulation suppression. My sweetspot for a good time is 180mg of freebase. If I go past 300 it's too incapacitating to do anything other than lay down--but it's not a bad time. (DXM ONLY of course) Just thinking about it again makes my stomach turn a little. Definitely worth it though. The whole "plateau per week" rule is pretty good to follow. Also, don't take any opioids or anything with opioid affinity alongside or on the afterglow of DXM. It reduces opioid tolerance and potentiates them as well, so it can end up killing ya. Had a few friends die from taking their normal opi dose the day after robotripping.

What is a good dosage for maybe second plateau as a 120lb male? I was thinking of trying 150mg. I want to try DXM but I don't want to ruin my weekend plans of indulging in K from ruining the tolerance with DXM, granted I already have a pretty decent K tolerance lol. I would rather wait (more like tolerate my existence) to get dissociated from K rather than from DXM.
