drinking is fun general

I see a lot of the alcohol threads here have a negative theme or connotation to them. lets have a thread about the joys of boozing. Getting fuarrrked up in moderation is fun. so lets hear those booze stories, favorite cocktails, favorite bottles. also RIP /hooch/ and 420chan in general

That's because like 90% of the time when people drink they're running away from something or distracting themselves or trying to cope. I only usually drink to celebrate important soykaf and that's why I end up drinking a single digit amount of times a year. Not to be preachy but I think that's the best way to use alcohol. It's a mood enhancer, so, if you drink when you're already happy, you'll be happier. If you drink when you're sad, you'll feel even worse. So I think people should find better ways to address their problems. Also, yeah, I'm really out of the loop what exactly happened to 420chan?

I'm tired of alcohol and absinthe is illegal here. Anyone have some recipes or suggestions for what I can safely put in this L of rum I got?
