First DMT trip
BigJohnnyChan · 2023-03-20 18:14
Craic lainers, I recently took DMT for the first time after a night at the pub (I'm Irish), I had a really bad panic attack at the start of it because I was watching myself die with a really loud kinda humming noise in the back ground, I did it on my own in the woods, I've felt very fuarrrking strange since like I'm no longer happy or sad I'm just kinda neutral, I've taken acid and shrooms before but I've never had this kinda spiritual experience where afterwards I've felt like this, I plan on taking the DMT again on either the 25th or 1st (the guy who has it said whenever I want to go again he has it for me), would ye say this is a good idea or am I just trying to rush into things?>

Not unusual. Taking it in the woods at night sounds like a pretty scary place to do it for your first time, although all my best psychedelic experiences have been in the woods.
I think breaking through on DMT was what led me to stop taking psychedelic drugs so much. Nowadays I just take microdoses, and very infrequently I take a gram or two of shrooms. Don't know what changed but I guess I saw what I was going to see, it was beautiful and strange, and didn't feel like I had to go deeper. If you want to go farther though, feel free :)

Another irishlainanon that indulges in drugs, glad i’m not alone.
As for DMT, its on my list to try. Did pretty much everything including heroin so far

I'd say if you really want to go ham then do it, but remember that no harm has ever been done by being patient. If you feel weird and not yourself, I'd recommend just grounding yourself to reality for now. Go on walks, talk to people, work, just live normally for a while. I got really fuarrrked up because of shrooms for a couple of weeks. At some point I was considering going on another trip but I found some resources online that talked a lot about grounding yourself and that soykaf really helped.

If you see this, tell us about your experience with heroin

Mostly smoked/snorted it. Never bothered with IV. It was the brown sandy stuff. I wouldn't say it was anything mindblowing as people commonly describe but it was quite nice, vomitted alot but oddly felt pleasant, it was just a warm state of not having any problems, never got addicted to it but I was close, withdrawals just felt like I had an itch in my legs and couldn't lay still for about 2-3 nights and some lethargy/depression. Definitely not as demonic as people make it seem but maybe i'm the rare few that have the "gene" that takes longer to get hooked on opioids. It was nice to smoke some bud and snort a line, took the edge off the strong weed and turned into a quality indica-like high

Thanks for the reply, your post is elucidating.

do your scare quotes around gene belie genetic knowledge, if so, what gene, or is it just a way to say you dont get addicted to opioids easily?

What do you figure the average IQ of a DMT spirit is?

If you believe in yourself, in terms of self control, I see no harm in trying it. Just stay away from IV and start with small bumps. Smoking it is actually the proper way to do it with the #3 stuff we get but be warned its smelly and its tricky to do with your first few times. The reason I say is to try it is because the real poppy medicine supply is drying up from the middle east thanks to the taliban cutting 95% of manufacturing and unless suppliers start importing the top grade stuff from the Golden Triangle into Europe (unlikely), expect to see the rise of synthetic opioids like Fentanyl or heavily cut H with synthetic soykaf. They already started showing up recently under "Nitazenes" so be careful.

just a way to say I dont get addicted to opioids easily but it must have something to do with my brain logic, right? so it must be genes. or maybe I was just more careful than the average user.

Addiction is an invalid idea used by idiots to excuse their soykafty behavior

Why is it so hard to understand that other people don't like the same drugs as you? Alcohol and cigarettes are also addictive substances, but the vast majority of people aren't addicted to either of those despite both being completely legally accessible. I'm addicted to DXM, yet I can't even get my friends who lack sufficient quantities of the CYP2D6 enzyme to do it with me if I buy it for them. And yes, I am also one of those people with the genes that prevent me from getting addicted to opiates (or even enjoying them in the first place). It's not "pseudoscience" or an "invalid idea to excuse soykafty behavior". Imagine if you claimed that you could do DXM once in a blue moon without getting addicted, and I replied that you're making excuses to engage in soykafty behavior.
It doesn't mean you're weak if you are predisposed to opiate addiction. It doesn't mean that I'm better than you. It was just the luck of the draw. Okay? Now please accept that people who are different than you exist.
I swear, opiateheads are the WORST drug snobs.

They are basically in denial with the fact they're addicted and externalizing their cope this way
I had never before in my life seen a rasta zombie but i guess it comes close to that dude i had over one time and it's pretty sad because i thought rasta meant be chill and cool and third-world wisdom and all that. he just looked deeply stringently sick... fuarrrk heroin

And I literally never did. Bought a gram of it 3 times and finished it all, found it boring with no positive influence on life except for relaxing properly.
Decided to go with uppers and thats where I got addicted instead but uppers actually had a positive effect. Cheap functional uppers > Opioids/Opiates for me. They made me focus on my problems and fix them, heroin just lets you ignore problems and let them grow until its terminal like cancer. The problem solving aspect of uppers got me hooked initially then the actual drug locked it in.

Dude, what don't you understand that drugs affect people differently? I'm willing to bet that you've drank a beer without it destroying your life. You are not special. Other people, people who are genetically predisposed to alcoholism, can't do that. That phenomenon applies to literally every drug. Some people get addicted to fuarrrking Benadryl and they end up worse off than your average junkie.
The more you dig in to this retarded position, the more we're forced to assume you're projecting.

Addiction is not drinking a beer and ruining your life.
It's not being able to stop drinking beer.
Calling in genetics is an unfounded cope from a biased party which does heroin. Nothing else.

Did you not read that guy's or my earlier post? We did opiates several times, decided the negative effects did not outweigh the positive effects, and did not get addicted. I haven't done any opiates in 5 years and I don't want to. It's not some daily struggle or tied to traumatic memories. The drug simply doesn't feel that good to some people; the nausea in particular for me was too much. It's the same exact way I just know you feel about DXM.
You clearly shouldn't do opiates considering how the mere mention of them makes you so insufferable. But to anyone else reading this, no drug is a "do it once and you have to do it forever" type deal. That's pure DARE propaganda meant to scare children. What's not propaganda is that some people have a genetic predisposition to get addicted easily to opiates (and alcohol and other drug types). I think you can even get your DNA checked for the gene complex that codes for this. So try opiates at your own risk... though you aren't missing much in the first place imo.
