What is Lain's experience with DMT?

I'd be interested to hear this too. I like other psychedelics but omg they just last so fuarking long

>>12502 The descriptions of other people encapsulate well the components of it that can be recalled after an experience. "The Spirit Molecule" is apt- it isn't fun, it's an otherworldly experience. You suck in what tastes like half-burnt plastic half-jasmine flowers and you have ~5 seconds before you're no longer yourself. The experience isn't so much scary- a lot of times you can't really remember what goes on during its peak, it's sort of like what you see there can only be experienced there and it's impossible to bring it back almost at all without being up again. The images you see are pretty much correct, but they can't really encapsulate the element of it that you aren't just an observer of that- it's not just something that you see in your eyes and you hear in your ears- it's like all the processes that one can use to experience the world aren't experiencing anything anymore and are instead all connected together and put into another world. And so it's kinda your brain becomes a part, or maybe the simulation of that world, and "you" don't exist anymore. It's kinda hard to describe without sounding like geriatric hippie babble.

>>12517 I think, and this is just my opinion, but that "bad trips" almost always happen on the comedown, when your internal monologue and self half come back and you can experience scared thoughts that are more vivid than any you have had before in like, total clarity. You don't really get access to the mechanisms of self-assurance you have because you're totally gone so that fear is all you get to experience at one time and it's totally delusional. So, the world really will be ending and it really will be your fault until you're down in like 5 minutes. The whole experience is like 15 minutes. It isn't too bad, but it's not a "I live with my mom and I'll just lock my room" drug, it's more a "open field at night, have someone I trust to talk me out of killing myself" drug. As far as comparisons, if you've done shrooms, smoked DMT is being shot into the peak of a hard shroom trip instantaneously with the color scheme of acid. If you've done 3g+ of shrooms, it will be very familiar- it all is really nice too because it doesn't make you nauseous.

>>12502 Did I/V DMT ~100-200mg once. Saw an angel scanning through my entire life and showing it to me. That was insane and scared me as fuarrrk. My previous experience with DMT was I/M and it was boring geometric figures CEV and there was a voice that said something about "the deadliest sin". Don't want to take it again. And I do not like psychedelics much now.

>>12526 ymmv with dmt. lain has never not been in control with dmt, can open eyes and "parallel process" during full breakthroughs, maintain relatively coherent chains of thought, be rational about what is being experienced, though lain also experimented with and recommends smaller doses before going for the bigger ones. the smell dissipates quickly.
