What do you all think of Alternative Cannabinoids such as THC-A or THC-O? I live in an illegal state but CBD and THC-O are rather plentiful in head shops and some gas stations. I've been getting THC-A flower from California and its been pretty OK in terms of getting some semblance of a buzz without going through too much hassle. Though one can tell the difference, I've had a decent experience myself. Curious about others.

Personally I try to stick to Delta 8 and CBD mixtures. A friend says that thc0 and such are not actually from hemp plants [I never looked into this as I trust him, so take with grain of salt] but instead are synthetic or lab made by chemists. He says they are more potent but in high doses make him feel fuarrrked up in a bad way, like he is going to have a seizure. Personally I do not ingest that high of dose but have tried th0, d10, and a few others and they dont feel as close to THC9 as Delta 8 + CBD, even if they are more potent than d8.
My partner also agrees that d9thc > d8thc + cbd > anything else we tried. But everyone is different. Maybe look for a vape shop. They carry a better quality and variety of products then a gas station. I live in a very rural area that has not decriminalized THC9, yet we have a ton of these types of shops around us. Its basically like dispensaries but they sell alternatives to THC9.
Although I have to say life is better without ANY substances ;] good luck, stay safe

I don't want to make you sad, but delta 8 is semisynthetic too. They make it from CBD, with a lewis acid catalized isomerisation. No kind of hemp plant make enough of it to make it competitive. (with the alternatives)

Oh and i forgot to say, THC-A will get decarboxylised into THC as you heat it, so THC will be present in your bodily fluids, making it not an alternative if you want to avoid failing on drug tests. (except if it's delta8THCA or delta10THCA, which i highly doubt as it doesn't have a point to make, and your image also shows delta9THCA).
The situation is very similar to THCO or any other esters of THC, but this time, THC, instead of getting produced in a thermic reaction during smoking, it gets produced by an enzimatic reaction in your body. (and is called deacetylation or deacylation in the broader sense of all THC esters)

Used D8 for years, both orally and vaporized. Stuff is nearly the same to D9 for me, just not as potent.

Something I almost never hear about is liverwort. It's only other plant known to have a cannabinoid similar to THC all others only mimic CBD. Havent tried it personally

Guess you have to give up delta-8: https://www.cannabistech.com/articles/how-delta-8-is-made-in-the-lab/
Or, you know, quit being a retarded luddite who thinks properly synthesized molecules are magically worse for you than properly extracted molecules. In my experience, extractions tend to actually have more impurities anyway because if you're synthesizing you're necessarily operating at a higher level of competency.
Delta-8 and delta-9 are federally legal thanks to Trump's 2015 farm bill. I've tried a wide variety of cannabinoids and they're def the best. I hear good things about delta-9o but I bet it's just marketing.

Since you seem pretty into the chemistry side, any thoughts on synthesized THC "Marinol" causing liver failure? There isn't anything in the pills but synthesized THC, which I agree should be 100% the same, yet in practice that's not what we see.
As for controls, Marinol recipients are likely all old people, but still we don't see the same clinical results in old people smoking or consuming D9 laced gummies.
This soykaf has bothered me for a long time, because it intrinsically defies that exact same core ideology of synthesis.

I realized this when I was min/maxing a talent tree... talents that give 33% (incrimentally) extra damage actually provide a huge damage boost.
Similarly, d8 is only .3% as potent as d9, but when you factor in something like 'bulk disty' (distillate) you are getting like thousands of .3's together in a single hit so it is just as effective. Plus you can modulate the entourage with high quality cbd terpenes. This discovery was seriously a godsend, and changed my life forever.

Bump. Also THC-A stuff especially the concentrates are amazing in an herb vaporizer like the mighty by Storz-Bickel, etc.

Accidentally just bought some edibles that are a mix of HHC and D9THC, thought it was pure D9THC when I bought it, but thats ok, been wanting to try HHC for a while. Seems good.
