Or is it just a meme? I tried different anxiety meds in the past but they never really helped all that much and I had to wait 5h in a tiny sweaty waiting room for my psych to prescribe them when I ran out. I pretty much run on cortisol the whole day, I often get paranoid but most of it is physical stress all day every day. Managable yeah, but I'm tired. Heard good things about cbd, someone said they switched to oil instead of their medication and it works great. I'm thinking about getting capsules or maybe smoking it. So in short
>does it really work?
>what method of ingestion would you recommend?

I'd say no, it wont help.
What will help is finding out where your anxiety is stemming from, and finding coping mechanisms which will aid you remove the anxiety. We can discuss further if you'd like.

Other lainon says no, I say maybe. Other lainon's right, you want to try to get to root causes, but I think CBD could help facilitate that process, so don't discount it entirely.

Wasn't supposed to sage, thanks autocomplete. Also hope I don't hit flood detection, because this soykaf is getting annoying.

cbd has made a huge difference in my life and anxiety, but >>11547 is the most right.

A friend of mine took CBD for anxiety and she has an usual reaction to it. It helped but it also made her almost black out and laugh at at anything and felt nauseous and confused. She actually basically gets high off of it but it's not like when high off weed. This happened on two different products. I was thinking maybe it's synthetic canmabinoids but she didn't want to spend money to get a test kit. Has anyone had anything like that happen and you confirmed with a synthetic cannabinoid test it wasn't synthetic cannbinoids put into CBD products?

Sure. I got diagnozed with generalized anxiety disorder and had it since I was a kid. The anxiety and fears are pretty random, I get overwhelmed and stressed by things I've done a hundred times and have no trouble doing otherwise like let's say making an appointment or work related soykaf. Then there's bs like waking up in the middle of the night in fear of my teeth falling out because I grind at night lol. Obviously I know it's irrational but my body takes it very seriously. Or intrusive thoughts that a car is going to specifically target and chase me to ram into me when I'm walking near a busy street. It's not so bad that I can't function, but it leads to depressive episodes from time to time. My coping mechanism is just sucking it up I guess. But it's exhausting and joyless.

Has she never smoked weed before that? I read somewhere that it can happen if you smoke cbd without doing thc before
