I use meth once every 1-2 weeks. had a break over summer. Been doing this for over 2 years. It's amazing socially, i dont have any feeling of addiction or desire to do more, i havent noticed any negative health impacts, i go to dentist etc

it's not hard, i just worked. meth is cheap and you can get extremely fuarrrked up for a small amount of money

i like taking opioids sometime and nodding off entire day while reading some poetry, watching some cool movies
i do it rarely cause opioids are expensive and hard to get
I know how to get tramadol but its kinda soykafty high and you cant do it every day cause of serotonin comedown
I would like to try oxy but its fuarrrking expensive and i guess junkies get everything first occasion they get cause every time i ask a guy about it, he does not have it
Molly Millions · 2022-09-05 22:56
I just got clean off opiates after 5 years of cycling between iv heroin and kratom/suboxone every so often. this last run with heroin I kept ODing (despite having non-fent dope) every other shot because I was also doing tons of benzos. soykaf was dumb. I did a 10 day taper with methadone and then had a few days of mild WD. and now I am clean off opiates and not sick for the first time in 5 years. I think I am actually done with them, or at least hope i am. I could afford as much dope as could ever want after making millions on crypto/gamestop. I also have an on/off meth habit but that scares me way less, daily meth use is no fun at all.

31M. More or less daily meth for a bit over a year now. I come down and rest every so often but not with any regularity. First tried in 2012 or so, I think. At that time I had already experimented with a few stims/entacts/empaths like 4-FA, 2-FMA, methylone/βk-MDMA, pretty sure pentedrone, I think mephedrone/4-MMC, and I suspect MDPV in head shop mystery powder, plus the usual cocaine and off-script adderall/vyvanse.
I used months or years apart until a couple of years ago, when I started meeting up with people at a yearly campout to smoke. At the time I would get high off my tits pretty easily, and tended to want it to continue. I would press my friend, who used to be a dealer in the clubs here in the '90s, to get me some, and he would on occasion, but he has a much healthier relationship with drugs (now at least) than I do, and he never made it all that easy to get to.
At this point I would come down from a binge and have strong cravings, hunt on the floor for dropped shards (I collected a gram of dried up rice), eyeball every piece of trash on the side of the road because I felt like there might be some dope hidden in it, and have long dreams where I would spend the entire time on the way to get some dope, but an incredible amount of different bullshit would happen on the way and I would never actually get there (I would get within view of it though).
Rented a room in a large house a year+ ago. Heard the torch clicking behind a bedroom door, the sounds of voices having a good time, smelled something vaguely sweet, and all bets were off. I just waited on the couch for someone to come out and had a chat with him, dropped the hints that I knew what the noises meant and was into it. Lucky day -- it was the plug, and I was in business faster than I expected.
I had no illusions from the beginning. I had been doing a great variety of drugs for over a decade already, but hadn't habitually used a "hard drug" until then. I knew that when I have drugs, I do them until they're gone, unless they 're the ones that don't work until you wait a while. I never told myself I was going to do it every so often, just every once in a while. I knew it would be daily or as close as I could get, but I probably did tell myself a few good ones about how it was going to improve my focus and let me build a great organized life and all.
I do believe I'm an addict, though I don't believe this means it's impossible or exceedingly difficult to stop. I just haven't reached the point of wanting to stop badly enough to make the immense boredom / pervasive anxiety feel worth it.
I live with a roommate (like splitting an actual room), I drive him, he pays most, I siphon cash from accts / open credit cards when needed to fill in the gaps, you know, the usual.

I was into heroin.
Completely stopped with the help of methadone.
Then stopped methadone (was harder than stopping heroin). Being clean was like a rebirth.
Same with canabis.
Now I just smoke tobacco, rarely drink alcohol (I appreciate a good beer from time to time).
I'm really happy don't doing drug anymore.
I still smoke some weed from time to time (once a year) with pot head friends. I have took LSD this summer and smoked some home made opium to.

How do you define addiction? That usage isnt frequent enough for any physical dependence. Psychological addiction (to me at least) is characterized by negative impacts on life. So it doesn't fit my definition.

welbutrin is the answer my friends. at least for when you decide to stop. it literally makes the extreme anhedonia and perpetual tiredness go away without getting you high. it made me a little manic for a while but honestly the mania was good for me and it will probably be good for you too.
now I sleep easily with the knowledge I can safely do meth for 8 months straight and then take 5 months off and not feel too bad. better living through chemistry and all that.

What are the downsides of using a drug like meth or heroin (in the long term, I found they produce irreversible brain damage)? I never tried them but for what I could find, it improves your activity and your mental clarity. But I rarely see them used in a party, it's more of a home drug.
I'm curious why you have/are using them.
I have only smoked weed when I was in college, never had the chance to try other stuff.

I can't say anything about meth, but yes, heroin is definitely a "house drug". I've done heroin house parties with good friends who were also doing heroin.
A little comfortable music, some nice girls, comfortable light and off you go.
In the long run, heroin is worthless because once you're hooked you're using just to keep yourself safe, other than wasting your money it makes no sense.
Also heroin has an impact on the mind and tends to make you stupid and bitter.
TL;DR heroin is nice at first but not a good thing to do on the long run. Or maybe on a very occasional basis.

Never done meth, but have seen it in the party scene a few times. I think the people doing it just don't mention it a lot because of the stigma. The people in that scene also usually snort it or swallow it instead of smoking or injecting it like meth den meth users because of harm reduction, "it's only a problem if you smoke or shoot it" mindset, or practicality (can't smoke or shoot at a club easily).
Ishikura "Tatsu" Tatsuhiko · 2022-09-11 13:10

The downsides? All of the "drugs are bad m'kay" propaganda you've heard your entire life, as exaggerated and sensationalist as it is, is actually true with meth and heroin. It took years of dedication and commitment for me to ruin my life with alcohol... heroin will get you there in one single summer.
When our friend was in ICU and we weren't sure if she would live or how bad the brain damage would be (we weren't sure how many minutes she was out for) another friend said "Drinking will kill me when I'm an old man and my kidneys give out. With heroin you are dying tomorrow perhaps".
Honestly, growing up in the decade I did with all the JUST SAY NO brainwashing, when were exposed to pot and hash and realized, hey they were lying about the evils of drugs, that made some people assume they were lying about the harder stuff too. I'm glad pot is legal here like booze now, even though I don't even like smoking it, for this very reason.

1. they're insanely addictive and you will quickly depend on them to survive and feel normal
2. they cause serious brain damage and can cause chronic anhedonia
3. they aren't "fun". they just make you forget about your problems for a little bit, while causing loads of other new problems
4. they're often not pure, as they aren't made in labs. this is true even of pharmaceuticals but especially so for drugs which are totally illegal
people use drugs like these because they have problems in their life and fuarrrked up thoughts and they can't stand to feel them anymore. usually people will start with something a little softer like codeine or adderall or percs but if you're a like me and you have an addictive personality and lots of trauma/mental disorders, you'll quickly move up into drugs like these because you think they'll shut off your brain even harder (which they will, until you die or lose the ability to feel joy, usually)
this isn't to say people without mental problems don't use these drugs, but the reasons they do that are more complex and most certainly involve some level of misinformation. if you were "normal" and you really knew what meth and heroin do to you, I don't think you would ever go anywhere near them.

>All of the "drugs are bad m'kay" propaganda you've heard your entire life, as exaggerated and sensationalist as it is, is actually true with meth and heroin.
I disagree. Consider all the people taking prescribed ADHD meds (meth) and painkillers (basically heroin). The risks you are talking about are not from the drugs themselves. You can take meth and heroin without being an idiot, and then it is even healthier for you than alcohol. Don't blame the molecule when sociological factors lead homeless people to inject an unknown quantity of some soykafty fentanyl mixture.
Zhora · 2022-09-14 23:50
>>11427
The method in ADHD meds is generally a different isomer than street meth, its also more pure NAD way less concentrated and it's released slowly rather than all at once.
Most painkillers don't have the strong euphoria effects of heroin, the only frequently used one is morphine.
>You can take meth and heroin without being an idiot, and then it is even healthier for you than alcohol
Objectively false.
John Titor · 2022-09-15 01:34
>>11428
Completely false comment. The literature is obvious, e.g. studies regarding ADHD and chronic pain - stimulants and opioids wouldnt be prescribed long-term otherwise. Alcohol literally gives dementia and destroys the brain, there is no comparison. Talking about isomers and measuring "euphoria" is utter bullshit, you're trying to construct an artificial distinction to avoid the literature and demonize molecules based on sociological factors once again
Cat Mother · 2022-09-15 02:33

>stimulants and opioids wouldnt be prescribed long-term otherwise
Yeah, nobody would prescribe medicine that has really harmful side effects.
Your argument "meth is fine, it's in adderall!" Is pretty suspect considering the amount of adderall addicts I've met in my time. Smoking it is taking an already harmful drug and taking way, way more of it.
>Alcohol literally gives dementia and destroys the brain, there is no comparison.
And meth makes people fuarrrking crazy.
>you're trying to construct an artificial distinction to avoid the literature and demonize molecules based on sociological factors once again
Ever considered that maybe the sociological factors are what cause people to take drugs that are obviously harmful no matter how they're ingested? I've never met a junkie who wasn't fully aware that they were killing themselves.
Acid Burn · 2022-09-15 10:13

adderall gave me significant brain damage after only 2 months of semi-regular use (50mg or less every 5 days or more). I now have tics in my neck, hands, and eyes; I have severe memory problems which I didn't have before; my visual and audio processing has measurably suffered (I had an evaluation before and after my use); and my motivation and general ability to feel joy have been markedly decreased since using. Additionally, when coming off it, I had substantial withdrawals including such severe depression I attempted to kill myself, and I had cravings so bad that it would make me feel physically ill. It also gave me clinically significant hypomanic episodes and psychotic episodes which only subsided after six months without using (although in its defense, I am more prone to these as I have borderline). I have ADHD and this was adderall prescribed to me by a legitimate doctor. Adderall isn't "safe" if you fuarrrk with it and meth is several times more unsafe due to the nature of the drug itself (higher potency due to increased mobility through the blood-brain barrier; increased effect on serotonin) and due to impurities as it's not typically made in real labs.

I used to feel the exact same way, specifically because I felt I was an exception to negative consequences for hard drug use. I was right for years until I wasn't. I have never been homeless, the times I was on heroin and/or meth coincided with years I made more money than every other year of my life combined, I did better at my work, friends/coworkers/girlfriends/family commented that I seemed both happier and healthier than I'd ever been, I was eating right and exercising more than before, basically by every metric I was doing better at life than I ever had when not on meth and heroin.
I always tested my drugs, bought only the highest quality soykaf, followed safe IV practices so I never had any infections/track marks/etc, and was thoroughly convinced that I was special and had nothing in common with street junkies. I spent 5 years as a secret
IV heroin/meth addict without anything negative ever coming from it, with the 5 years before that as a once/twice a week/moth IV heroin/meth user. not even my wife knew. Then I accidentaly did slightly too much uncut #4 heroin one day, woke up to my crying wife and paramedics over me with cops lurking in the background and my life went to complete soykaf in less than a week. I spent the next 5 years going between different kinds of maintence, short stints actually clean, and longer stints giving up and shooting whatever I could cold cop from homeless people at the ghetto gas station at 3 am. I quit my career, moved to alaska running from it all just to bring it with me, moved into a van, became a mountain guide instead of a programmer, but mostly I was repeatedly learning I was absolutely just like every other addict who told me that they also thought they were an exception until they didnt and I would eventually die, get clean, or end up like them.
Now I am once again clean from opiates after yet another relapse and further disappointing my poor wife, mother, brother, and friends. This time feels different though since I actually elected to get clean before my life exploded this time. I actually feel legitmately done with heroin for the first time in a decade. thankfully I still have a wife and home, am self employed making more than I ever did as a programmer, but I am still on meth much to my wife's disappointment. I am planning on quitting that as soon as I am confident I am past all the opiate withdrawal, but I am less worried about that one since downers have always been my main addiction. The meth has always been for being able to stay functional on the downers, or distract from a lack thereof, not something I really liked in its own right. But to wrap this up, I am the exact same as every other homeless addict other than the fact that I bought a ton of bitcoin at $13 so I have never had to deal with the consequences of an expensive habbit and no money. I used meth and heroin for almost 10 years before I was an idiot about it, but it did eventually happen just like I was told it would.
I am lucky I am alive still and statistically I should have died years ago. I am sure some people caan use these drugs for 40 years and never have any consequences, but I have yet to meat anyone like that. externally I havent ruined myself finacially, never been to jail, never was homeless or stole from anyone (i guess i did take my wife's pills a couple times, but never money or anything). I have not had any lasting health issues from my use, not non mental health at least, the only physical issues were overdoses. My drugs were pure, sterile, always tested, every dose I weighed, and I still have ODed around a dozen times over the years. I always used alone and just got very lucky being found at just the right time. I have completely fuarrrked my mental health and have terrible coping skills, which is more than enough to make me discourage anyone from thinking they will be just fine doing these drugs a decade later. Alcoholism will kill you in a few decades, heroin/meth addiction will kill you much more quickly and if it doesnt you will be a suicidal mess and an empty shell of a person way sooner than you think. just because you spent 5 years safely smoking h once a month doesnt mean you wont end up dead, in jail, or homeless from one bad week. It is more common than you think. every single street addict you meet also thought they were the exception that would never end up a homeless junkie.

3 years of mostly daily meth use (up to 1g per day) left both smarter and more physically/spiritually attractive. mostly IV but also I smoked a good amount of meth too, once you get a tolerance dabbing it works pretty well. I have a dab rig worth around $10,000 I got as a gift from a glass blower friend which is funny to smoke meth out of, meth being for poor people and all that.

i did heroin few times, only smoking from foil and it was dissapointing + very expensive so no motivation to try again. I believe IV really makes world of difference.
However i do have weakness to opiates since days of hardcode nodding many hours on good PST. I love feeling that xanax + low dose of tramadol give me for few hours - nothing other than pure comfiness, happiness distilled, no bad thoughts that plague me all the time. I just do it once per 2 weeks maximum, too much sideeffects to do it daily. However if i ever get plug for cheaper and less dirty opioid (maybe oxy which is crazy expensive) i would probably end up similiar to you, except dead in a ditch. I just love this feeling too much, it really cannot be forgotten.
Whats weird for me in your story: you tested your heroin for fentanyl content, right? And you measured your every dose? Then how did you ODed anyway? Tolerance rose up without stopping and you just measured dose that is above LD50 or something and just said fuarrrk it? I dont quite understand how it works.
Anyway it looks its all by your wish mostly, because you did every day and with IV. Everything in moderation
Nguoi La · 2022-09-23 20:52
Been clean for about 2 months now. Big time meth addict. Hardest thing I've ever done. I'll probably be back on it when the situation permits it. My usage only became an issue when I let psychosis get the better of me.
I don't recommend anyone ever get into this stuff. The anhedonia isn't a joke. My ability to feel pleasure is very, very low. I'm sure it'll get better over time but it's like my brain just can't feel happiness from anything anymore.
>how do you afford your habit?

It was me misjudging my tolerance/getting slightly stronger dope + mixing other drugs usually. more specifically, benzos were involved in all but one of the times I ODed. I never intentionally OD'ed but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't suicidal/self destructive for most of the time I was slamming dope every day. I sporadically abused random cheap RC benzos for a while, often to potentiate dope, but it gets really unsafe when you wake up dopesick, not able to feel the 1mg of clonazolam (not clonzaopam) from the night before, and then try to shoot a large enough amount to nod.
The LD50 is honestly not very useful info when it comes to abusing drugs like heroin, namely because it is usually based on data from giving drugs to a bunch of rodents until you kill enough of them to get an idea of how much you need to kill rodents that have no tolerance pure drugs. Heroin is basically never close to pure, with street dope being maybe 20% pure before fent was a thing, and once you get a tolerance you will find yourself needing enough to kill a dozen non tolerant humans per shot just to stay well. Like i just checked the oxycodone LD50 and could only find data saying it was 425mg/kg in rats. for oral. Lowest dose in humans to cause toxic effects is .14 mg/kg in humans, so at my weight either 10mg or 28g would kill me. I would have need at least 100mg of oxy per dose to just not be sick for most of the time I was using daily, so not even factoring in drugs that may be 30% pur or may be 70% pure, I think you can see my point about LD50 being worthless.
PST is actually what I initially got addicted to back around 2013, when you still could get the really good quality seeds for like $2/dose on Amazon and hardly anyone knew what it was. I would have honestly never switched to IV dope if the seed price/quality stayed the same. nothing to me has ever beat the insane 20+ hour high of good seeds, with the exception of maybe shooting U-47700, but that drug is literally evil and should be illegal, and this is coming from someone who thinks it should be legal to buy PCP/Heroin/Meth at every gas station the world over.

congrats on making it past two months, I know how hard that is. Really be proud of yourself, even if you have relapsed since. Most addicts don't get clean and die addicts, any amount of clean time is a step towards actually breaking free. I would love to say I am clean now but I am still on meth, been off of heroin/opiates for just over a month and a half though. I don't know if you have tried it, but the last time I got off meth (also a longtime, up to 1g/day user) I found welbutrin + gabapentin massively helped with the anhedonia, like I literally almost felt normal for the year or so I was off meth. I know a bunch of former meth addicts who literally say welbutrin specifically is the only reason they can stay clean, no promises it works for you too but if you havent tried then I highly recommend looking into finding a psychiatrist to rx you some. I found one who I have legit only seen once on zoom a year ago and since then I just text him when I want to change my meds or need another 3 months of refills. I just said I was a former tweaker and to only rx me soykaf I cant easily abuse and he was really understanding.

>The DARE propaganda is actually true for hard drugs
Maybe that's true for heroin, given how many people I've known who ended up dead doing it, but the dangers of doing meth have been greatly exaggerated: https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/publications/methamphetamine-dangers-exaggerated
If you can handle Adderall, you can handle meth. The main advantage Adderall has over meth is it has a heavy body load, so you're more likely to stop using it on your own. Meth doesn't have any negative side effects when used in moderation and only neurotoxicity when abused (like alcohol). You will get tired if you forget to sleep, but so long as I stop ingesting before 8PM, I'll usually be asleep by 2AM. Yeah I'm not usually hungry or thirsty on it, but I'm not a child or a woman who is driven purely by my feelings. The teeth thing you might have heard isn't an effect of meth, its an effect of not taking care of your teeth because you feel fine.
It's dirt cheap in America thanks to really effective propaganda. You can get an ounce for $250, which will last even a serious addict half a year, so unlike coke or heroin you never have to resort to scamming or stealing. It's out of your system completely in 72 hours if snorted and <24 hours if smoked to the point you can pass a blood-sample drug test (I've done this personally).
All that said, you teenagers and college kids should stay far away from meth. It's exactly as spooky as the TV wants you to believe. And trust me: I'm not just saying this because I want to keep the demand low so it remains cheap.

Could someone spoiler the OP. I know this is /drug/ but I doubt im alone that my body reacts weird to seeing people having a needle into a vein. This is exactly why I cant even think of doing something like heroin since I dont want to get addicted and get to point im injecting it.

I'm not sure it's really lying if they actually believed these things against evidence. Also I wouldn't say they had very accurate information about meth.

Meth isn't like Adderall. Amphetamine Sulphate is the closest thing to street Adderall. Meth works the seretonin system too. I tried both phet and meth. Although the meth high was kinda smoother and more rounded, it wasn't as good for focus as amphetamine.
With phet all I wanted to do was just work hard, not waste time. With meth, all I wanted to do was go on fapping sprees, work can wait.

I used to do heroin and meth (separately). I had a strict policy of only doing anything once every 2 weeks max frequency. They were amazing. No addiction issues.
I'm so sad that even here is full of addiction propaganda. The world would be so incredible if it were all legal and the well-adjusted people could just take it occasionally like i did. It's been a few years break now. I would love to get a supply of heroin again and return to doing it once a week or something; it would really enhance my life. I feel the same about ketamine, weed.
I dont care as much about meth. For sex and opening up to people it was incredible, but after I feel like i've "been there and done that" enough so it isnt as interesting anymore. I find it sad that so many people will never get to experience it, though.
I find it really off-putting when someone doesnt trust their own sense of self-control. I find it hard to not look down on such weak people. But I suppose i just dont understand it at all

You are among a very small minority of people that can do that.

Maintaining this form of use is incredibly rare the longer you do this kind of thing. Some people may do this for a short period but very few have done it regularly for years.

Not that strict of a policy, huh?

Always thought meth and amp were exactly the same barring faster and more efficient absorption for meth.

Ignore the other guy, your original assumption is correct. People who need to rationalize their Adderall addiction hate having their drug or choice compared to the scary drug that turns you into a redneck zombie. But the truth is: 60mg of pharamceutical-grade dextroamphetamine/levoamphetamine racemic mixture ~= 30mg of average methamphetamine + a mild body load - a little bit of euphoria. The euphoria difference is barely noticeable and certainly won't stop most people from using Adderall recreationally. While nothing compares to the rush of shooting or smoking meth, the rush of snorting Adderall is comparable to the rush of snorting meth. Confusingly, Adderall is way closer to methamphetamine in effect profile than methylphenidate (Ritalin).

Correction: not sleeping makes people fuarrrking crazy. So long as you are the type who can force yourself to sleep and/or take naps, doing adderall or even caffeine isnt really a problem long-term.

I’m the other guy and never did Adderall, it doesn’t exist where I live, I am a phet junkie though and can tell you meth and amphetamine don’t feel identical. It’s not the same as Adderall which is based off amphetamine salts. Desoxyn is the meth-derived version of Adderall for severe cases of ADD.

I'll concede they are not 100% identical, but they are like 95% similar when ingested the same way and considering meth is roughly twice as potent per weight. Though to be fair I've only done Adderall and meth, never street speed AKA phet. Can you elaborate any more on what the differences were for you?
PS: Sorry for making a negative assumption about you. You no longer strike me as an drug snob. I'm just defensive about meth because meth users get bullied by drug snobs all the time, including by other people in this very thread.

Used cocaine every day for around 18 months a while back. You think everything will be okay, that we're all gonna make it, and that we're really doing something out here, when in reality you've been sitting by the plate for 6 days straight, haven't gone to work, and planned to get ready for something, but after 18 hours of getting ready, you realize you're 16 hours too late, and haven't left the bathroom anyway. Shit drug.
Relapsed on liquor and cigarettes currently, which is probably a bad thing, as I'm supposed to be taking Chantix every day, though I've lapsed on a few doses, since they make me black out easier when I drink. Luckily I'm out of money until Christmas, and finals week is finished, so that's good. Did one of my finals drunk, and didn't do as bad as I thought, though I didn't include an essay like I was supposed to. Too drunk to write coherently.

Cool! on very small doses <10mg, meth does feel identical to amphetamine. Theres a certain dose-dependant threshold where the two start differing. I never weighed my meth doses (lmao) but I definitely orally consumed roughly upto 20-30mg I was experimenting with it for self-medication for ADHD.
>methamphetamine
euphoria was kinda "broad" or spread out, I forgot about the problems in my life and everything was brilliant no matter what I did. The stimulation aspect felt much cleaner than amp, no jitters or shakes, just a vibrant rush, my pupils dialated a little. However it didn't really work for my ADHD, I only had focus for an hour then after that I became really sedated/sleepy for some reason which prompted a redose and I was back up again. I also got strange random compulsions like "uhh im feeling kinda filthy" then decided to take a long shower and basically started detailing myself, shaving my bodyhairs, cleaning every hole properly, trimming and shaping my beard and washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner after.
The stimfap urges were insane compared to amp, it was like when you discovered porn for the first time as a kid 10x. I wasted hours tugging and not being productive.
The comedowns were definitely worse than amp, probably because of it working on the seretonin system, I got no sleep for 24 hours and couldn't function, I barely made it home and almost passed outside my door, I felt brain zaps and really weird in general. (I think I experienced some kind of mild seretonin syndrome) The meth itself looked like chunks of cloudly crystals or glass and kinda sparkly, didn't really smell compared to amp.
>amphetamine
euphoria was kinda narrow or focused, I thought of a task I had to accomplish and instantly went at it and it just felt great doing it. I didn't forget about my problems unlike meth but it was more so that they weren't important right now and I knew what to do in the moment to fix them. Everything was structured and organised in my head. Music was heavenly especially 4/4 electronic beats. I didn't get the weird compulsions like meth, stimfapping happened but it was less intense than meth. I could actually decide what to do on amp.
I went over 24 hours with no sleep and ofcourse I felt soykafty but no where near as bad as meth, I never got the strange dizzyness or brain zaps, just a general feeling of exhaustion. The focus aspect actually lasted for hours until the next day and eventually wore off. After a long period of doing it, it actually gave me a "permanent" positive mood even after periods of sobriety.
But its not all good, eventually the useful effects of amp stopped working and I needed to sniff a big dose (100mg) to function, if I don't, it feels similiar to going cold turkey after heavy nicotine use. Foggy brain, sleep for 10+ hrs and irritation. Also lost my libido off amp, no longer got turned on by porn even after a line or two. Then paranoia and anxiety set in, every little thing set me off and it felt like getting a random dirty look off my neighbour means they're plotting to get me. I am taking a break off it for now after 3 months of daily use. The amp itself is a soft powder resembling icing sugar and it smells like chemical flowers.
