is this what "tripping" is ?

A friend offered me some chocolate and about 2 hours passed with nothing so I decided to take the bus. While I was waiting at the bus stop I wasn't able to read any license plates and was having a hard time reading anything else, so I ended up thinking I was in a dream. Whenever I got on the bus I ended up seeing people from grade school that I was never close with randomly boarding the bus while I rode. The bus driver also looked like he had the legs of a baby. I ended up thinking I was dreaming and giggling to myself alot and having a really good time on the busride and nobody talked to me or asked any questions. What I am wondering is, is it normal to feel like you are in a dream when on psychadelics and can I expect a similar experience with a re-usage of the same chocolate?

Certainly there is a kind of dreamlike halo in what you see/do, the important thing from my point of view is not to ask yourself too many questions about whether it is real or not, but get it into your head that it is the temporary effect of a substance and that it ends. Try to get carried away by the experience and have a positive attitude in the things you do and see :-)
