Lingering effects after weed, did it give me brain damage?

A month and two days ago some friends convinced me, who had never done any drug before, including cigarettes and alcohol, that it would be a great idea to do an edible, and turns out we really underestimated how intense we would be as it had me on the floor flailing my arms around, speaking nonsense and soykaf. It was interesting, although not anything I'd ever want to repeat. The problem is yesterday morning I started getting the physical symptoms from the trip: an impaired sense of touch, not being able to feel the objects inside my pockets when I put my hands inside of them. The effects were very mild, but today in class I realized I was rubbing my hands one on the other like a crackhead, and the symptoms got way stronger as I took the subway back home and the weight of my backpack on my shoulders started feeling almost unbearable. Right now, it seems like I'm sinking into my bed as if it were quicksand, and my skin feels just as I felt when I was high: everything I touch feels like a rippling force field, I need to focus on every movement, touching anything cold is outright painful, the feeling has expanded to include my entire body, and it feels like I'm melting into myself whenever i touch my face. A weedbro drummer I asked about this asked me if I have schizophrenia symptoms (this might be possible), as people with these conditions should never use weed under any circumstance. He said that while he has never heard of someone experiencing the effects of weed weeks later, he has had an LSD flashback one week after using it. Anyone know what's going on? Am I fuarrrked?

You're probably just freaking yourself out. THC isn't going to linger like that. Placebo effect will though. Get off the internet so you don't freak yourself out reading propaganda or troll stories designed to freak out people like you. If you continue to feel odd, go to a doctor.

Gonna side with >>11071, it seems very unlikely for those effects to kick in one month later, if it were a week i would say it was the thc. It seems also very unlikely you have "brain damage", first off edibles dont cause braindamage, not even smoking it does that unless you smoke so much you have too little oxygen. I have no idea what happened, its odd too have such an intense reconfiguration of tacticle senses from baseline. Over the years i have heard lots of stories, but this is a new one indeed. It will probably go back to how it was in time, i know the sensations you are describing, its strange but shouldnt cause any impairments.

>>11071 >>11072 Thanks guyse. Today it feels as extreme as yesterday night, but it doesn't really change my life besides making me do stuff slowly so I'll give it a week before asking for help.
