im new to the whole psychedelics thing, is my acid supposed to taste sour? also, i never experience any sort of visuals and the overall experience is rather anti-climatic compared to my friends. is this maybe because of the acid im taking, dose, or myself?

acid is supposed to have almost no taste. the ink on the blotter should taste more strong than the acid. as for it being weak, idk about other people but for me sometimes when I drop just nothing happens or the effects are very weak, and sometimes they're strong, I can't find any cause for either though.

There are a lot of psychedelics that are potent enough to be active at blotter paper doses and some of them can be harmful at higher doses so I would be cautious and increase your dose in small increments. You really should buy a reagent test kit. They are not that expensive and I would consider it to be an essential requirement before ingesting any chemical that didn't come from a pharmacy. >the overall experience is rather anti-climatic compared to my friends LSD is a pretty fragile substance, heat, light, air exposure, will degrade acid quickly. There's also individual tolerances. Some people are just more tolerant to drugs in general and need a slightly higher dose, and then there's any other drugs/medications you're on or have taken the last few days. Anti psychotics, benzodiazepines, and SSRIs can all dull the effects of psychedelics.
