Smoking Herbs

I have an interest in trying out smoking stuff that isn't weed or tobacco. So far I have tried >hops Makes you feel slightly chill and sleepy, very nice >cloves Mixed in tobacco, they make smkoing really smooth because it sort of numbs the throat Apart from that I want to try catnip, which some call a weed alternative, and salvia divinorum, which was used in shamanic rituals of the aztecs. What is your experience? Is there perhaps anything you can smoke that's growing near you even?

>>10642 Lavender is calming/sedating, but only lasts for a couple minutes. A "natural entheogens" store that used to exist near me once sold a Lavender extract which looked basically like (weed) hash and which was substantially stronger. Passion Flower is similar. Damiana + Passion Flower seems to be a good blend. Kratom is harsh, but powder can be sprinkled into other less harsh herbs for a nice effect. Changa is unparalleled but also more in the Salvia category in terms of not being a very casual smoking experience.

Almost forgot opium / California Poppy. That's all the plant/herb based things I've tried.

I have still never been able to find salvia, I want to have the deathtrip so bad it's not even funny. Yuba gold is a fun mixture itself. Damiana is tasty, and Scullcap 'makes you fearless' + calms the nerves in my experience. A little bit of Lobellia has been great stuffer or makeshift filter for the beginning and end of cigarettes / joints. Also wild lettuce as a mild opioid calms you down but tastes gross so usually put a lavender in there. experimented with all this before actually researching what terpene profiles I like.

Protip: When they say to treat salvia with respect they don't mean take a huge bong rip of 20x for your first time
