LSD spoonfeed 4 safety
ohka-san · 2022-03-14 02:33
I recently acquired 10 tabs of 200ug acid and have never done psychedelics before. I have a few concerns regarding doing it that I haven't been able to find a clear answer on answering. I take adderall on weekdays.
Firstly, how long from taking adderall is it safe to take acid? Would 10 hours after taking it be sufficient?
How does LSD affect your ability to make choices based on your own safety? I don't live alone and worry that I will make bad decisions while on it, like going outside and doing things I don't want. Is this a common experience and how can it be avoided if so?
I've heard that using LSD too frequently can hurt your brain. I know that tolerance to LSD is incredibly steep and you shouldn't use it too frequently based on that, but is the former statement true? If so, how should I space my trips?
How long do tabs last in room temperature, dark conditions? I wrapped them in tinfoil.
Beyond that, will I regret this?
Thanks.

LSD doesnt negatively affect your brain unless you have a latent psychotic condition waiting to present itself. Being off adderal probably a good idea cause you will want to sleep once you come down.
Dark place at lower room temperature should be fine for storage.
The rest I cant really answer for it all comes back to the first thing I said. Keep a nice setting, have comfortable media to consume easily accessible.
People have bad experiences and do something stupid(i myself recently did something completely insane and stupid on mushrooms while reading this site, but ive also done mushrooms 100s of times with only a little giggle giggle and pseudo deep revelations). But most of the time they just think they suddenly understand all of creation and laugh a lot.

trips should be spaced out in months unless youre microdosing
you will make worse decisions on acid. its a psychedelic intoxicant that makes you pseudohallucinate dude... you should be able to intuit that you'll be of an unsound mind on the stuff. the adderall question is out of my breadth of knowledge. also LSD can hurt your brain even if you dont abuse it the poster>>10336 here is dead fuarrrking wrong. just look up hallucinogen persisting perception disorder and you'll see that some people, even those who don't have latent bipolar or schizo or something, can easily be negatively affected by psychs.

How do I mitigate bad behavior while under the influence?
Dujour · 2022-03-14 02:55

Their question seemed to be about “fry” as in it can cause mental retardation. Of course it can psychologically affect you, but it doesn’t “fry” your brain. Kiddo.

You don’t. Just don’t watch serial killer documentaries or some soykaf, think of media you find scary or makes you think crazy soykaf. Then avoid that.

Idk, I have a psychiatric disorder, and even something as mundane as weed has made me go off the deep-end and go nuts. Just be aware that if you have some kind of latent psychiatric syndrome, and you go nuts, then people would never look at you the same again. But who knows, you'll probably do fine :)

have a trip sitter who is sober watch over you while you trip

also it's probably not a good idea to take LSD if you have a personality disorder, as your reality testing is already impaired.
Chan Siu Ming · 2022-03-14 13:05
100UG-200UG is not a dose that will make you really impaired, like you cant move at all, and your visual perception is all fuarrrked up. Its not DXM, LSD is much more clear-headed in general. I mean your thinking will be altered a lot, but it will not make you feel retarded and in doses like these you wont see any hallucinations, not even strong CEVs.
>>10339
just do it alone at night and do not leave your room
>>10345
and mention anyone in real life that you do serious (non-weed) drugs? never. This "trip sitter" soykaf was always retarded to me, who would even like to do that? Sitting sober entire sleepless night just to babysit someone high.
ohka-chan · 2022-03-14 18:27
>>10352
LSD alters your thought, right?
I worry I won't know that I shouldn't leave my room. If that state is possible, will that only happen at doses high enough to prevent me from moving around? Thanks.
Yet Another Lainon · 2022-03-14 20:12
-acid and adderall probably won't interact significantly. No need to worry about that. Might actually enhance each other slightly.
-LSD can make it seem like some decisions are good that you would never consider if you were sober. But honestly it's really rare for people to do anything unsafe on acid.
-if you take acid every weekend for a year you'll probably get brain damage or something, but it's a really safe chemical overall. Long-term negative effects are very rare if you don't abuse it.
-tabs will last for quite a long time when stored properly.

you'll be fine. maybe write a note on your door or something if you're worried about it.

The psychonaut wiki has some information on using anchors and trip killers: https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Bad_trip
The only permanent effect doing a lot (as in more than your entire supply) of LSD may have on your brain is HPPD. HPPD isn't usually disruptive. One person who did acid for several years in high quantities, including mutliple thumbprinting experiences, once described his HPPD to me as "sometimes an object melts or changes colors, I blink a few times and it's back to normal. Just tiny trippy stuff like that every now and then."
If you have a terrible trip you can get PTSD, but that's unlikely. Having a trip sitter, anchors, a good set and setting, and trip killers can mitigate that. Wear gloves when handling your tabs.

I've never gone wandering on my trips. I pretty much stay put, usually lying in the same spot for hours at a time. I make a nest for myself and keep water and food in the general area. (Those are for hour 6 or later.) If you're sure you want to stay put, then you will.
Tolerance is two weeks, but there's something special about tripping after a few months' break.
There's no interaction between adderall and LSD that I know of. It's probably better to keep the two separate, though. Uppers are not the right vibe. If you're tense, I recommend having a small can of beer about an hour before you trip. Or some other form of alcohol, so long as it's mild. Your stomach should be mostly empty by the time you start.
For a beginner, 100mcg is plenty. You would be able to cope with 200mcg, but 100 will send you to Mars on its own.
Speaking for myself, I've never experienced HPPD from LSD. I have had it from 5-MeO-DMT.

I highly recommend "outside" trips for the experienced. I usually find city streets too loud and anxiety-inducing for a good trip experience, but if there's a patch of wilderness you know well it is an excellent tripping location. Make friends with trees and whatnot.
ohka-chan · 2022-03-21 04:21
Hey, everyone! It was really awesome!
I didn't really experience anything I'd consider super hallucinogenic or anything except for colorful shell swirlies on my vision and shadows on objects being rainbow-y; it just made me feel crazy happy in a way I hadn't before and sunsets were the most fantastic thing I'd ever seen. Very worry-free. Is 2 weeks between doses a good timeline for usage? I have way more tabs than I could possibly use and 1-3 month spans between each would literally last me throughout a whole year.
As another question, I've heard a lot about trip killers. Is there any of these I can easily source legally and without prescription? Thanks.
>>10357
HPPD sounds pretty. Probably sub-optimal though. I liked the little shells it gave me. I have a blanket I use to cover up a door-way and LSD's little eye things make it look crazy beautiful with all its patterns.
>>10367
This is what I plan to do for next time. We own a lot of property and I plan to take a day and sit outside for a while. Looking outside my window at around ~6 or ~7 PM made me cry like a bitch. It was fantastic.
Thanks everyone, it was awesome!

glad to hear you had a good trip
i'd still recommended spreading out your doses in periods of months
I know the euphoria is extremely tempting but it's just not a good idea to play with your serotonin system on a biweekly basis
ohka-chan · 2022-03-21 12:32

What are the potential tangible consequences to screwing with your serotonin system like that?
Apoc · 2022-03-21 16:16

psychotic depression
serotonin syndrome
psychosis/mania
etc, etc
Chan Siu Ming · 2022-03-21 19:23

ignoring the clinical problems, if you trip too frequently you can just start losing interest in your own life. It's not depression per se but it looks like that on the outside.

Depends on where you live, I managed to get benzos and anti-psychotics for sleep without much issue in Australia.
I think it's even easier in the USA. The tip is to find a local doctor who's liberal with pills, know how they prescribe them so you can move onto new ones by telling them you have the severe side effects.
You can't really go back to a prescription easily, so try your best to milk each one, but you can get a lot out of a doctor, even if you actually use them legitimately.

After doing it for the first time I built a strong tolerance for ritalin and I am not sure how to make it usuable again.
I read that 5-HTP supplements help with preventing a tolerance to stimulants but other than that I have no idea what to do, but I need them as a treatment of ADHD.

I don't know if you'd be able to do this, but switching to vyvanse might be good. No issues with acid or any other psychedelic so far even while on my dose of vyvanse, but you might shiver a bit on acid. That might serotonin syndrome, I don't really know, but I'm not dead yet and the shivering makes me feel comfy. 0 issues with DMT thus far.

Also vyvanse to be honest is just comfier. Much nicer ADHD amphetamine. Would recommend.

>Firstly, how long from taking adderall is it safe to take acid? Would 10 hours after taking it be sufficient?
acid and amphetamines typically complement each other and are pretty safe together, so it depends how much you want the tweeky adderall feel while you're tripping.
>How does LSD affect your ability to make choices based on your own safety?
Makes it hard to think straight in general. I've never done anything really unsafe on LSD, the worst I've done is almost call 911 when my buddy was having a really bad trip. But I also know people who have pissed themselves or done really stupid soykaf. Just remember that you are an unreliable narrator of your own life and you will find it is easy to take a step back and consider things. As the saying goes: "cars are real, cops are real."
>I've heard that using LSD too frequently can hurt your brain.
Some people think so, some people think not. Personally I don't like tripping more than once a month, and I think if you trip every weekend you'll probably start to lose your grip a little.
>How long do tabs last in room temperature, dark conditions? I wrapped them in tinfoil.
Hard to say. At least a year.
>Beyond that, will I regret this?
Probably not.
