When to call the ambulance?

Weed allergy. Last time my tongue was a bit swollen... OK, it wasn't swollen at all, it was just irritated and felt a little bit weird. And I spend 3 hours googling the allergy articles, every article saying "if you are having an allergic reaction, go to the hospital immediately". In that period I called my dad 3 times until he told me to cut the crap, that I'm just trippin and to stop smoking weed. Then I called a friend. But hey, a bunch of people allergic to weed smoking weed, trying out buds they're less allergic to... They live, m8. From what I read, weed allergy emergency visits are rare and nobody died from it anyway. So, if I ever experience actual allergy symptoms, how do I know it's the dangerous one? Weed makes me paranoid anyway so I can't tell. It's like "I know I'm stoned, but that if this is it anyway?"

weed won't interfere with your ability to experience pain that much. If you start noticing pain when you're not actively thinking about it, it's probably 100% real and you should at the very least tell someone about it.

Son, I told you if it freaks you out so much, don't smoke it anymore. Kids these days, can't handle their weed (or is it just stronger now?). Anyway, listen to your pop. Oh and call your grandmother you ingrate.

Listen virgin, you couldn't handle weed the first few times you smoked it. You're a real pussy if you have to start making excuses for not being able to tolerate pot. An allergy implies inflammation, so unless your throat swelled shut or you broke out in hives I do not believe that you or anyone else could be allergic to pot. Besides getting black lung from smoking raw bud, weed is one of the least toxic chemicals one can put in their body. More people have died from Tylenol(tm) than weed, including allergic reactions to it. Also, don't call your dad in moments of introspection unless you are a glitterboy and never want to get laid.
