I have personally experienced this for second time, and want to put my thoughts on this issue after successfully getting out of that feeling.
For most people it's :
>smoke ->get high
>wait -> get low
but for me on my last 2 times it was a slow and steady haze after getting high, for days in fact.
Some people attribute this to idea that THC is fat solulable and that it stays innactive in the body for few days for some people, and others say it might be just you overthinking it.
I am here to confirm it's the latter. And I am here to tell you why, and how you can get out of it:
Feeling a need for getting out of my life and having some emotional problems is what drove me towards weed in first place.
Forgetting your worries for just few hours and not having that anxiety feeling.
But what happens when your high feeling starts coming down into anxiety/nervous/stress riddled reality you live in? Your mind starts craving that feeling of haze and depersonalization, not being in focus. On emotional level you want to be chill and cool and not worry about inconsiquential things at the moment.
How do you remove this feeling? You push through it.
Seems like a dumb and meaningless phrase, but seriously. Ignore it (and it will pass in few weeks), or even better yet REALIZE that you're in control of situation and that you're not hazed and fuarrrked up.
The scars on your personality in form of either ego destruction or ego inflation might occur, but that is normal when you're questioning reality and you have been literally high for few days, even after drug stopped having it's effects.
That's all for now, will come back to this thread in few days and tell you how I am doing, I am still kinda in the haze and not in control but I am starting to see that I am really in control and that I just don't want to deal with current events in my life.
Good luck lainons, hope you do well.

I had a few days where i smoked too strong stuff and had it the next day too.
Other than being unergetic and having concentration trouble i never had many bad effects.
Its quite possible your system absorbs it slower so it might take even a few days.
Dont worry it will all be fine, i always worry a little myself when on it.

Years ago I took a break for a week (was a daily smoker for six years), and then I took a puff and it stayed with me for what seemed like days. Unbeknownst to me, this was the onset of my first psychosis/manic episode. If you're having any strange thoughts like that you have super powers, or that you can save the world, or maybe that I am telepathically sending you this message, also if you've been getting very little sleep (three hours a night) and yet have lots of energy and even losing weight, this might be something you want to research. I had extremely high stress/anxiety/depression in my life at that time and I think a psychotic break into believing I was going to save the world was easier to swallow than to face the reality of my life crumbling apart. I was diagnosed bipolar and it hasn't happened since (four years ago).
Or maybe the high just lasted longer than expected and everything's fine in your life. Just my two cents on what happens when a high lasts for days.

because lungs are perfectly efficient and there is no stronger argument than personal anecdote

OP here, thanks for all responds.
4 days passed since I started feeling like this.
The "ignore it" and try to calm down is better suggestion than "pushing through it" as I initially thought.
I was, on few occasions on verge of manic episode as >>733
noted. The
>if you've been getting very little sleep (three hours a night) and yet have lots of energy and even losing weight
Is right on the money. Sleeping little, having stressful life and having even imaginations of grandeur, but yet having a lot of energy to wake up even after 4 hours sleep and going through extreme heat stroke (which happened day before yesterday) without even feeling a lot. This state of haze and depersonalization is really perplexing.
In some aspects it's even "good" I would say. I managed to study for 10 hours straight without break or looking @ phone/pc (half-focused because of haze, but still managed to remember things by pattern or mnemonics or even visual association).
I can sincerely say that the feeling is going away from me little by little. I feel much better now although I would say that a good chunk of my personality is obviously missing from this whole experience.
I know it might sound like LARPing or even some kid that smoked weed for first time, but I am dead serious. I think a lot of my obnoxious overthinking overcomplicating side of me is gone. I also have a lot less of introspecting thoughts or even imaginations of future better times to evade reality. In a lot of sense I am mindlessly drifting through space and time, doing a lot of things instinctually. People I have said this have reported to me that I am actually acting normal, and even socializing much easily than usual. I also noticed that I use more of common, down the eart, emotionally framed phrases than explaining things using drawned out analogies like I used before to get my ideas across.
I also noticed that worrying really fuarrrks me up. Just makes me unable to act normally.
Taking a deep breath with eyes closed calms me every now and then.

Nobody is saying anything of that. We are just all sitting here explaining our positions and experiences. Personal anecdote (accompanied with somethings I read online) is best thing I can get to offer you since nobody is going to go to psychologist and say "yea, I smoked weed, can you please fuarrrk up my life now? I really need that atm" to get a proper objective stance on the matter.
But yea, it could just be lungs being fuarrrked up. Although I was a swimmer and my smoker buddies from day of old gave me "iron lungs" nickname because I never choked or coughed. Who knows to be honest.

Thanks man for your comment.
Will calm it down as you suggested.

Thank you too.

This sounds like a classic description of mania / a psychotic break.
You should talk to a shrink, and avoid any future contact with psychedelics / weed / dissociatives / deliriants.
Also, buy a bottle of booze and get trashed and sleep for 12 hours.

This is called derealization/depersonalization, cannabis can trigger it. I had major DP after having a panic attack on weed, got out of it eventually. Wait for THK to wash out of your system, this may take up to a week
