Adderall

Zhora · 2017-08-03 18:08
Is it any good? I've been super depressed lately and have neglected a bunch of important work. Thinking of getting some adderall to help me power through and just get some soykaf done. I know this stuff is popular among college kiddies in finals and other people who need prolonged focus, but I dunno... I've never used it before. I don't really like stims. Prefer weed, various downers, and psychedelics. Anyone have experience with this? What can I expect? Advice? How addictive is it? I really don't need to become a fuarrrking tweaker right now. How much of the soykaf do I need to do, anyway?
Crash Override · 2017-08-03 18:12
Adderall is amazing if you don't take it often. It's like the euphoria of psychedelics, minus the mind fuarrrk. I find taking it 2-3 times a months to be amazing. The more you take it though, the more you become dependent on getting soykaf done with it. Usually 10mg IRs with no tolerance is great.
Mitnick · 2017-08-04 01:27
Adderall is a lot of fun, but make sure to start out with a low dose if you haven't built up a tolerance
Hitomi · 2017-08-04 05:50
Incredibly functional drug, there are avenues for abuse but I suppose that applies to most anything. When taken moderately in some individuals it's great for productivity, focus, general cognitive function and i/o On the flip side, getting geeked out of your mind is fairly possible too if you have no tolerance, and it's generally one of the less extreme and 'clean' stimulant highs i've experienced
Just another Random Lainon · 2017-11-18 08:39
I blast thru my script in a week because I build up so much work during these three weeks when I am a lazy fuarrrk.

>>666 nice trips. how does it stack up against vyvanse and similar stims?
Mitnick · 2017-11-19 20:22
>Is it any good? Oh, yeah. I have ADHD and take it mainly for that, but do use it recreationally on occassion and the following tips apply to either scenario. Tips to ensure maximum effectiveness: Don't eat or drink anything but water an hour before AND after you take it. Food and acidic drinks (soda, coffee, etc.) will fuarrrk with absorption. Most importantly, take it on an empty stomach. If you have acid reflux, take some fuarrrking tums beforehand too, as those -- even if you haven't been eating or drinking -- can still mess with absorption. Also: a caveat. Just because you're focused doesn't mean you'll magically focus on doing the right things. There have been days where I've been infinitely LESS productive after taking adderall (ESPECIALLY if I take more than my standard daily doses) because I'll end up sitting on my laptop deep diving into Wikipedia or TvTropes all day long. You still have to be motivated to do things, and it can actually be easier to get stuck doing the wrong things if you're not careful. I take my dose first thing in the morning, and have to wait an hour before eating or drinking. So I often end up spending that time glued to my laptop, and when an hour passes and the time comes to get up and eat, I still don't because it kills my hunger entirely (AKA motivation to get up and get food), and also because I'm hyperfocused on fuarrrking around with my Neocities site or something. No worse feeling than looking down at the clock and realizing you've wasted the first 2 hours of your dose on some stupid soykaf when there's other stuff you needed to do.
Void · 2017-11-19 20:35
>>1045 >How much of the soykaf do I need to do, anyway? Oops, forgot to add this part: Depends on factors like weight and height, but for someone average in both regards I'd say definitely start with 10 mg and go up from there. Try 15 mg if 10 isn't enough (if you get 10 mg tablets you can just break them in half like in the pic, but splitting 20 mg tablets into 4 pieces gets trickier), but keep in mind what I said in my previous post about still needing to have the motivation to do things (especially since you mentioned being depressed lately). Can't really address addictiveness since I take it medically. As long as you just take it for productivity, and don't go chasing the high/euphoria, you should be fine. Another tip: You might feel compelled to pair it with coffee on your first go, but keep in mind caffeine causes the effects to wear off quicker. I'm not saying you can't use caffeine at all with it, just that you should try it without caffeine first (maybe a few times) so you can judge how much of a difference it makes when you DO try it with caffeine. Good luck! Let us know how it works out for you.

any one else use meth? I had some sitting around for a year+ without using it, but recently started taking 10-30mg as a functional stim and it is really working out well. I actually crash way less hard on meth than I do on adderal/amphetamine and only need to dose once. I have no issue sleeping 6-7 hours after dosing either. I have done meth (3 times, all IV) in the past before (150mg+) and while that felt really good the not sleeping for 3 days and 2 day crash made it not fun at all so I hadnt touched it. even then i still felt like it was a much cleaner feeling amphetamine, my heart rate 40 mins after a 150mg shot was only 75 bpm

>>1045 >>1047 Hey, it's the Lain who posted this the other day. Got a question of my own now: Anybody have any experiences snorting adderall? Think I might try it to bypass the stuff I mentioned about absorption -- so I can just rail it and not have to worry about what I eat or drink. Only on certain occassions, not all the time, but still curious. Anything I should keep in mind about dosing? Amount of time it takes to kick in? etc.

Jane Doe · 2017-11-24 23:20
>>1061 Fairly easy to get. Got mine from my regular doctor, no psychiatrist needed. You just need to know what to say and be confident enough to not look suspicous. Don't sound so sure of yourself when asking. Don't open with, "I have ADHD, I need adderall." This is the quickest way to get your doc to question your motivations. The best thing to do is plant the seeds that'll lead THEM to decide that you have ADHD and need medication (the same is true when trying to get a script for ANY controlled substance). Tell them you're having trouble focusing, you've tried but just can't force yourself to buckle down and study. That even if you turn your phone off and have nothing but the textbook in front of you, it's like you hit a mental brickwall and just can't bring yourself to continue. Tell them you keep forgetting to do assignments, and once you do them you still forget to print them out/turn them in online. That even keeping a day planner hasn't helped because you forgetting to write stuff in it, and when you do, you keep forgetting to check it. That you've tried using your phone for the same purpose but it dies too often to be reliable (but only if they ask after you bring up the day planner thing, otherwise it'll look rehearsed and like you're reciting a list of bullet points). Tell them you're struggling in your classes and just barely getting by and that you've finally reached the point where you think you need to reach out for help. Then after that, it's alright to say "I looked it up online and think I might have ADD or ADHD or something." Part of it depends on how well your doc knows and trusts you. Some won't prescribe controlled substances on the first visit. They might offer to put you on Strattera. It's critical that you don't show any hint of disappointment if they do. Remember, you're playing the part of the struggling college student who only knows the basics of ADHD, and your doctor just offered to medicate you for it. Pretend you don't know what Strattera is (it's an SSRI) and look/sound/act ECSTATIC. Then the next time around you can tell them it isn't working, describe some of the side effects (it's an SSRI, so sexual dysfunction is a big one, and one they're super likely to sympathize with and not question), and they'll more than likely switch your meds. If they tell you to keep taking it, tell them you'd rather take nothing than deal with the sexual side-effects, and they'll have to put you on something that isn't an SSRI (i.e. a stimulant). If they put you on something extended release like Concerta or Adderall XR, and that's not what you want, you'll have to take it/pretend to take it again and next appointment tell them the comedowns/crashes are too strong, something XR ADHD/ADD meds are known for. You're gonna wanna look this up, or have personal experience experiencing them, to describe it realistically. Then they'll have to put you on something IR. In general, the more "knowledgeable" you sound about the issue, the less likely they are to believe you. Gotta appeal to their ego. Don't try to "over act" it either. Like don't suddenly act forgetful or hyper or spacy during your appointment. They can see right through that soykaf, and even if they buy it it's more likely to make you look like a "druggy" than someone who actually has ADHD/ADD. If you overact it to the point that it seems as though you can't function at all, it'll just make them wonder why the hell you didn't get seen about it earlier. And don't just repeat the example lies I mentioned verbatim. Come up with original stuff along the same lines that'd apply to your life. When they do start you on adderall they'll start you at 10mg. Obviously, if you want a higher dose, tell them next time around it isn't working. That you've seen SOME improvement (don't use this exact phrase ffs) but you still have issues with the aformentioned things. Don't get too greedy, though, or they might start you on something else entirely. 20mg is generally a good dose to be content with having a script for. And. keep in mind that (in America, at least) you can't get another 30 day supply from ANY pharmacy until exactly 30 days after you've picked up your last supply. I.e. don't get addicted (though this shouldn't be an issue as long as you're just taking it for study) and blow through your whole script in two weeks then freak out when you can't get any more. And, hey, don't get down on yourself calling it the "easy way out." If you "can't fuarrrking study," for all you know you might actually have ADD/ADHD. Especially if the aformentioned "things to say to your doctor" are things you've actually experienced. In which case, good luck and godspeed, Lain.
Mario Rossi · 2017-11-24 23:31
>>1070 Oh, another example: Tell them that when posting online you constantly have to edit or delete and re-post things because you always forget to add stuff. When leaving your house you have to triple-check that you have all your belongings and half the time you still end up forgetting something anyway. Et cetera. Case in point, I forgot to mention that you should also mention the Strattera just doesn't work, you feel emotionally flat when taking it, negligible change in ability to focus compared to the negatives, etc. in addition to the sexual side-effects (which, by the way, is a total loss of sexual desire and the absolute death of your sex drive). Do some additional research before going in, don't just repeat verbatim all the stuff I've said.

If you "can't fuarrrking study," for all you know you might actually have ADD/ADHD No, I think I probably do have ADD. It's just that I've been smart enough to make it through college up to this point, and I've managed my workload down to two or three courses at a time. But now I'm taking serious math courses and it's just impossible to get by without study. I can scrape by the way I'm going right now, but that's not fun, and it's wasting lots of my time.

>No, I think I probably do have ADD. You need to keep super organized to get through college. I like using something called "Getting Things Done" because the planning phase feels like procrastination so that makes it easy to get started. Medication and exercise are also highly effective. I don't know if I'm understanding you that you expect to pass a serious a math course without study? More than one psychiatrist has commented that they're surprised I even graduated without medication, that's a far cry from expecting not to study. When I want medication from a new doctor I usually tell them I have ADHD and want medication right up front. I was totally open to strattera, it worked but it put me in a pissy mood. I try to take breaks or low dosages on the weekends sometimes. Slow release is less addictive and has less crash so you should try those unless you have a specific reason not to like sleep issues. Don't try to get put on more than you need even if you may 'benefit' from it, from time to time you'll need your dose adjusted and each time that it's raised you'll get weirder and weirder. School may be a little different than work but I figure it's fuarrrking myself if I take more drugs to be insanely productive for someone else's benefit. Don't exceed your prescription for any reason, not for fun, not because you feel like you need to be a little sharper than usual. Get your doctor to increase your dose. I'm not a goodie goodie but having a quasi-regular supply of highly addictive drugs is an easy way to get addicted, you don't want to create a situation where you can no longer trust yourself with these drugs but you need them. Go get addicted to something else even if you must. >>1070 Aww man. I don't want to begrudge anyone a fun time but you have no idea how hard that stuff makes life for people with ADHD. I have had to jump through hoops and when I miss one I just don't get medication and then it's months before I have my soykaf together enough to schedule an appointment. Just do me a solid and don't talk your doctor to giving you such a monster dose that the DEA gets involved or you get caught riding a bicycle naked on the expressway.

those who are interested in adderall for productivity purposes should also consider nicotine: >>1640
Nemissa · 2018-05-03 23:23
>>1059 Don't bother snorting it unless you're doing it recreationally. Make sure you don't stop eating. Don't start doing 36 hour days. Ive been there and it isnt fun. Addys aren't actually that good as a therepudic drug IMO. Ritalin is less speedy but still gives you the focus. Also most psychiatrists don't like giving out adderall. It'll be easier to get almost anything else (concerta/Ritalin, focalin, vyvanse,...)

My first and only time taking Adderall (or any stims for that matter) I wanted to get a bunch of work done but only ended up dicking around wasting time on the internet. It was an immensely pleasurable experience, I felt great both physically and mentally. My only suggestion would be to only dose once a day, I ended up taking a couple tablets early on then taking a couple more later in the day as my first ones wore off, but it just make me feel like soykaf and unable to sleep. Also I fapped for like 2 hours, lol.

Horribly addictive in my opinion and experience. If you can keep it in the realm of work, it's fine. The afterglow of finishing work will carry you through the comedown. If you end up taking it recreationally you open pandoras box, it doesn't just make work more fun it makes everything more fun. Masturbating, video games, typing on chans, etc. Your brain will recognize this and keep wanting it. Started about a year ago and haven't been able to stop. Spend 20-60 a week on pills, and that's only because supply is limited. Nearly gone into psychosis a few times from staying up too many days. Am I prone to addiction, yes. However I wasn't really until adderall, about all I can say is it's kept me away from meth because I know if this is a problem meth would be the end of me. However I also would never have considered meth until taking adderall. Its actually more addictive than coke for me. Mainly because of the duration.

That said, it is a fuarrrkton of fun if you dont do it often. I hadn't taken any amphetamine in a couple years, then I got a script, and I'll just say the first couple times were damn near rolling euphoria. Not worth the constant comedowns and getting a habit tho.
Neuromancer · 2018-11-08 01:57
>>2806 hole is a good way to describe it. You know you have to crash hard in order to stop and it's going to get leagues worse before it gets better. Both mentally and in your work, you will have to face the consequences of having soykafty work or worse not getting it done because you no longer can count on just popping an adderall and getting it done. The mental bit is the bad part for me. I've destroyed friendships on the comedown by getting weird depressive ideas in my head.

Adderal is sort of like cutting off your legs and replacing them with advanced robot legs. When you've got the robot legs on you're performing way better than you could normally, but without them you're hobbling around on stumps.

>>2791 i have adhd and this perfectly matches my experiences and those of the people I know. For me, I actually find video games and such less enjoyable on stimulants, but even with adhd you have to avoid the black hole of having robot legs, as another anon put it. took me 3 years to be able to use stimulants to treat my adhd without abusing it, and i have a friend who also was diagnosed with adhd who had to stop using it period for the reasons you mentioned. I spent a year of that chasing aphp off foil destroying myself. soykaf is NOT a light drug even when prescribed, soykaf is fuarrrking addictive and even people with adhd like myself should not be taking it anywhere near daily ime (i take it once every 2 weeks on average and I don't think its even possible to take it more than this without slowly entering the black hole of dependence). The real issue with stimulants is that the more you take them the less functional you are without them, adhd or not. And without adhd there might be issues beyond that of which I am unaware of.

Can anyone suggest a method of obtaining large amounts of adderal? (No prescriptions/doctors) Local dealers are out
