Viable Xanax alternatives?
Sipho Nkosi · 2017-05-09 05:00
I love Xanax more than anything but it's expensive and annoying to procure, and I'm not sure if I can get a prescription for it. Is there anything that comes even close to the same level as relaxation? I have narcolepsy and if I take this soykaf before bed, I sleep like a baby and actually have energy the next day. Any other sleep aids / rc chems / etc that would work for preventing nightmares and quelling anxiety?

that girl would actually be cute if her waist wasnt unnaturally thin but cant tell if thats just pic or not.
Idk though ketamine? I dont actually know if thats cheaper though cause im not a bartard.

That's just how Michi is built. She's got this v-shaped torso like Bruce Lee.

find a way to procure the raw alprazolam powder, its ridiculously cheap. dose it out volumetrically in some sort of solution so you dont dose yourself retarded.
in all honesty though, you shouldn't take xanax, as its fuarrrking horrible for your brain and development overall as a human. I have a few friends (can't really call them that anymore) that started taking benzos to sleep, and now they take them all the time, and are generally giant pieces of soykaf.

This is fair, another reason why I'm open to alternatives. Are there any research chems similar to ghb or something?

Could always smoke weed to go to sleep.

Etizolam is uncontrolled in North America and pretty easy to find, especially if you go for a liquid solution. It has a shorter duration than Alpralozam though.

Look into phenibut. it's not a benzodiazepene but it feels similar. Not scheduled in the US.

Oh you have anxiety? You are gonna love it when you have to come off or miss a dose and start to panic about how you are obviously now hooked on this soykaf and better throw it in the toilet.
fuarrrk Xanax

If you are looking for an RC etizolam is good, the short-half life (~3 hours?) keeps you from building a tolerance too quickly and makes WD's more tolerable. The other RC's that I know off all have half-lives that are too long to really be useful for sleep only.
Diphenhydramine will likely put you to sleep, although it also won't do much for anxiety. Could pair it with alcohol and that might help, although then you are ending up with a whole new slew of issues.
Phenibut could also work, GABA agonist akin to gabapentin afaik.
Melotonin is hard to discern from placebo according to some studies that I read at some point, but works nicely for some people.
Sorry for the long post, also I agree with >>368 that long term use of benzos will fuarrrk you up, guaranteed. Short-term expect anxiety attacks, seizures, etc. when the WD's kick in and even after you are technically "clean". Long-term your odds of getting a mental-degenerative disorder (Alzheimer's in particular) will be higher than normal.
Not that I'm in a position to lecture, just want you to be aware of the risks.

thanks, anon. I just ordered some phenibut powder.
does anyone here have experience with the stuff? what's the best way to consume it? has anyone had bad experiences?
William Holtzer · 2017-07-18 03:51
Kava or phenibut.

I did a bunch of it a few years ago, it's pretty good stuff. I usually dissolved a few grams in a cup of water and chugged it- it tastes awful and I've never found a way to mask the flavor.
If you take too much (for me at 70kg it was 3 grams), you will lose the ability to focus your eyes or it will become difficult. This isn't awful but it's a bit annoying and you won't be weird enough not to care.
Snorting it was the absolute most painful experience of my entire life. It's extremely soluble in water and very acidic. It legitimately felt like someone put a blowtorch up my nose. The feeling dissapated in about one minute, but it was excruciating and didn't get me high because the dose was so low.
It's also addictive and very expensive on a per-dose basis. Tolerance builds quickly- I recommend taking it once every three days at most.

I have permanent tinnitus from using ~3-4G of phenibut once. Assuming it's due to some sort of rebound excitotoxicity.

> permanent tinnitus
Technically it's always permanent, no matter what caused it.

If RC's are OK the ranking is:
- etizolam
- phenazepam
- (other RC benzos that I know little about)
Etizolam is recreational, has a short (~3-4 hours?) half-life so you won't ever black out for too long, and is readily available.
Phenazepam will fuaark you up, has a long (12 hours?) half-life, and very low doses (1-2mg = strong dose). But it is cheap.
Gabapentin or others have a good reputation, but I've never tried them.
Phenibut also has a good reputation.
ALSO
if you are willing to branch out and do some home-cooking, you can actually brew GHB-laced alcohol pretty easily. It turns out baker's yeast will happily metabolize MSG into GHB alongside their normal fermentation process. Look into old shroomery articles for details.
