I'm starting a new programming project which involves Legacy code and I'm wondering if any Alices here are able to share there wisdom when it comes to this sort of stuff.
Biggest pains in my neck:
-It being difficult to find relevant documentation for old proprietary libraries
-Coping with having 32 bit dependencies on a 64 bit computer
-Obtaining the necessary disk software and/or obtaining keys for them
I'm wondering if there's any hacks for these issues that I'm completely clueless about.

Often someone has mirrored it explicitly, but otherwise you can use the way back machine to browse the products old documentation site.
Do you know what products you're going to be working with?
