Has anyone ever taken a hard look at code for passable chatbots? Given the underlying logic, would it be possible to write in a way that would consistently elicit agreement and cause the bot to echo your sentiment?
Might be too broad of a question, but it would be interesting if the magic words existed.

Sounds doable. You might want to look into how "that's what she said" classifiers do their thing;

You should be able to find somewhere (Twitter? IRC? Just web crawl?) a large corpus of sentences to which the next sentence is "yes", or "I agree" or similar. Then throw a statistics package or ML at it.
