I had an idea for a videogame project. 0ad is already opensource, so I wanted to put a cyberpunk spin on it, kinda like what blood dragon did to farcry 3. sounds stupid but I thought the idea of futurist cities sending modified humans and robots to take each other over would be a cool idea.

Make a video game version of Taxi Driver where you drive around whores and shoot people in a grungy 70s-noir NYC, idk

both of those are very solid ideas

probably be easier to make a mod of it

I know 0ad is great, but if doesnt diversify in being used so much for many projects. Unlike https://springrts.com which i use for a very long time now. I ve no idea how far you wanna take it, but getting some cheap soykaf together goes fast on either once you figured it out. But to make something actually decent takes a long time and lots of work. Theres plenty of slow going or even almost dead projects that could use devs, on spring side for sure atleast. Maybe elaborate more on the idea and not be vague.

A decent Dredd game would be awesome. OPs pic looks like that but actually isnt.
