I love learning, but sadly my brain doesn't organize itself that great. Any good Programming related blogs that have RSS feeds you recommend

RSS is sadly dead. I can recommend however Muppetlabs.com and reading source code.

Not true. I recently got into RSS feed because I was tired of having multiple tabs open that would slow me down, one great thing about RSS is it's organized. If you are on windows get owlRSS, and on linux there's a lot of open sourced feeders, especially for gnome.
Also if you use thunderbird then you bassically are set, I highly recommend thunderbird, since it's all in one you can use emacs for RSS if you crazy or suicidal enough

And if you want a cloud-based (with web and mobile app versions) RSS reader, I can recommend Inoreader.
