Is there any good programming youtube channels? And I don't mean tutorials, I mean general interesting youtube channels, where people program or discuss some non-beginner problems
I realize, that it may sound absurd. But there are good explanatory channels for all kinds of stuff (nerdwriter for example), so why not for programming.
Few years ago, I've found channel where guy was just making small video games in Wiring or some similar kind of soykaf. But it was nicely done, focused on code and was somehow relaxational. I would like to find out something in this style, some kind of programming poetry, or programming jams.
PS: I know about computerphile and that is not what I mean. I don't want encyclopedia.
Hacker · 2018-10-26 19:51
I mean, nerdwriter is a good example, because it makes you appreciate the beauty of something, you didn't notice before. I think that this would be really nice for programming topics.

Hey lainons,
I have watched this series (handmade hero) for a while. I think it's really kick-ass, especially teaching me a lot about practical C programming. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCaTznQhurW5AaiYPbhEA-KA.
What do you thing about it? Have you tried to follow along with it. I am also curious if you have other resources to help with learning how to code at a low level, but still professional.
Not sure of this sounds to rambling, but I really feel like series takes me back to my original excitement for coding 20 years back.
Case · 2019-03-15 13:56
I like 3blue1brown. It's more about geometry than programming, but a lot of it is very similar to the mindset a hacker might use, and the moment of understanding at the end of his videos is similar to solving a difficult programming problem you've been working on for hours. I can honestly say he's made me a better problem solver.
