This language deserves its own thread.
Discuss audiovisual languages (Pure Data, Processing, Supercollider).
And if the mod allows it share some of the things you've made in them.

If you dont mind me criticizing your thread topic, the only audio-visual programming system you mentioned is Pure Data. Processing is just a Java graphics library. Supercollider is just a sound processing library. There are like a million sound processing libraries out there, here is a list of some for Python:

here is a sound library in Scheme since Lisp is always cool:

your thread topic could be about almost anything in graphics and sound, which is ok, but its just not very specific

I dont mind.
Let this thread be about audio and visual programming.
I made one about supercollider specifically because I like it, but it got locked immediately.
Thanks for the links, Ill check them out.

For a language that deserves it's own thread, you sure didn't give much effort for the OP.
"Here is thread. You do all the work."

To be fair, this is round two after round one was locked due to misunderstandings. A visual/audio programming thread sounds like a fine enough thing to have.

Anyone here have experience with sonic pi?
I just installed it and was messing with it.
I'm not sure where I'm going with it, I have no music education but composing looks like a fun hobby, and I figure it'd be easier to learn music theory coming from the programming side as a programmer.
Hopefully I can appreciate music I listen to better after I give it a shot.

I am wary of posting programs because the last thread was locked for this. I'm torn.

I agree, we have a /music/ board, why doesnt OP start a thread there about music apps?
