Does anyone know what software was used to generate the images in the Lainzine? I've tried other ASCII editors, and some of them are very cool, but I really like the one in the Lainzine. I'm going to try emailing the guys who made it as well. When I upload too much ASCII into Visual Studio the whole thing crashes, so I need something like image (c).

If you read the article, it's actually a paper explaining how to generate the images.

Would be nice if there was a program that did it for me so I didn't have to do all of that work. Isn't that what computers are for?

That paper describes an algorithm that can be turned into a computer program, you don't have to do it manually with every picture if that's what you think.
