Password decrypt request
Could someone assist me in decrypting the PPPoE password for a Huawei HG8245W5-6T fiber optic ONT? The password is formatted like this:

I've attempted to use Huawei's configuration encryption and decryption tools without success. the internet provider won't provide the credentials.

Excluding the two dollar signs the string is 41 characters long
Rounding down to 40 and dividing by 5 would give a nice, round 8, which makes me suspect it might be some Ascii85 encoding (8 x 32 bit => 256 bits, incidentally the size of a typical cryptographic key), but I'm unsure since I can't figure out which variant.

$2 makes me think it's inspired by how password hashes are stored on Linux. It's not quite but it resembles it.
