I bought the Instructor's Manual to SICP since I couldn't find it online. After I finish reading SICP and it, I'll scan it. Any tips on scanning? It's interesting, it contains mostly a lot of extra problems to practice with, but it also contains information about the language Scheme, itself.

How many of you actually read these books you upload? It'd be helpful if you gave some commentary on the books you share as books you've not read are at a higher potential of being garbage. I find that the books worthwhile to read I buy but PDFs are useful for reading a couple of chapters.

>>333 I haven't uploaded anything in this thread yet, but I know that >>238 "Introduction to Algorithms" is pretty much the gold standard algo text in academia and is cited often in publications. I also own >>162 "Clojure for the Brave and True" and >>175 "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python." Faye Valentine · 2017-04-16 01:18
>>333 Read and find out. You can figure out if a book is bad or good within the table of contents the publisher and the first few chapters. Bad or good being relative to the information you need to extract from the book. Most textbooks aren't meant to be read from cover to cover but serve as references and guides.
Random · 2017-04-16 02:05
>>333 >How many of you actually read these books you upload? It'd be helpful if you gave some commentary on the books you share as books you've not read are at a higher potential of being garbage. There are only a few programming books I consider to be 'stand out books' that I think are way ahead of all the other books on the subject. For example when I uploaded The Well Grounded Rubyist, that book is not only the best Ruby book, but a book that any beginner should use to give a deep understanding of how a programming language would work, especially from a OO perspective. The other books Ive uploaded are just on subjects Im interested in and I cant say for sure if they are good.
