You dont have the intelligence or wisdom required for that to be a good idea. Try learning to program and making a note-taking app or something first.

>>39597 Not to be rude OP, but I don't think you know enough about programming to even begin to tackle a problem like this. >I was planning to use neocities but i would like to give raspberrypi a try Is particularly telling. Neocities is for very small websites. It's one step above a github.io address. Using it for anything of this scale would make no sense. Raspberry Pi is a small ARM based personal computer with relatively modest hardware capabilities; it has absolutely nothing in common with Neocities beyond also being inappropriate for the task at hand.

>>39597 OP don't listen to them, depending on the scope of your project it is totally doable to handle crypto sales on only a basic webpage, and a great beginner project. That said, since there is real money involved that is especially subject to loss and hacks, and you seem to be inexperienced, definitely make sure to do very extensive testing using testnet cryptocurrency before deploying, take pains to keep things as simply straightforward as you can. Am I right in assuming that what you want to do is sell things for crypto from a website? Have you considered using one of the many prepackaged services for that? This would allow you to set up with less effort, knowledge, and risk, and accept more cryptocurrencies. If you instead want to not rely on a service like that, think about which cryptocurrencies you want to accept, because you'll have to implement code for each of them, so maybe just start with one.

Don't use JS it's the Antichrist

Use nodeJS instead of PHP and instead of using SQL read and write JSON files to the operating system directly. Run it entirely off of a cluster of Raspberry Pies, using Plan 9 as the operating system. Make sure that you have darknet mirrors so drug dealers can use it.

The easiest way to get to where you want is to use ColdFusion, you should consider using a cluster of second hand Nintendo DS's running BSD

>>39615 Javascript for web development is perfectly fine, specially if you're not into free software and things like that. OP just want to make a simple website to invoke an external API, there's literally nothing wrong with using JS for that, that's literally what JS was made for.

>>39597 You don't seem like you have the knowledge to do this. That said, there's no harm in such a project existing, so go ahead, knock yourself out. I just have one request; allow for transactions using monero. Bitcoin ideologues will hate me for saying this, but, at least for the time being, cryptocurrencies have a much stronger future as decentralized payment processors than they do as outright replacements for fiet currencies. There's no immediate (emphasis on immediate) need for an alternative to the US dollar. There's very much an immediate need for an alternative to paypal. And as an alternative to paypal, monero is a lot better than bitcoin.

>>39722 i was originally going to use Dash because its faster but i'll save that monero idea for another project
