hello lainons, i am planning on coding a lain-themed P2P chatroom software for my computer science project in class. The main focus will primarily be on the overlap between the technology and the occult (techno-occult) and elements of spirituality and cyberpunk. It may also include a repository containing documents and works sent by users which can be viewed and accessed using the decryption password. Essentially a library of documents which typically involve philosophical essays, the occult and implications of technology, so i plan on making it useful for finding research material and resources (as centralized research material can be lacking)
This will also be FOSS software as well. I plan on making it available on both windows and linux, mainly because my teacher uses windows and I need to send the file to them in order to receive feedback. I figured a lot of lainnons here will genuinely be interested to be involved and show investment in the project so I decided to send out a questionnaire.
I am currently just going through the traditional software development life cycle now in class, and now we have to set up surveys to send to end-users. The implementations will be dependent on the users insights from the questionnaire. So if you're interested, send out a response and give feedback on current implementations via the google form and let me know your thoughts. You can make references to different software akin to this project, it will mean a lot.
