>>38296 I tried following along with RTIOW, and I am getting filtered. From 'dielectric' topic I can't seem to keep up. Admittedly, my maths is not that good, but I do know about vector, matrices, trig, etc. So, should I just power through it, or should I learn some Linear Algebra or some foundational stuff first?

here you go, one of the shadertoy water attempts i made and never uploaded. Typical voronoi noise cells that get moved by perlin noise. The greyscale result then gets fed into a color ramp to give it water color.

>>38385 >I do know about vector, matrices, trig, etc This should have been enough to muddle through basic path tracing like RTIOW. You need probability and calculus to understand more advanced sampling and BRDFs.
