A civilization lost to time. We found the first piece.
We are looking for those who still use their brain.
The message is hidden in this image.
Find it, and the path will reveal itself.

all I could find of note is that 116016131008104872012171419262452259209161264254176222287 seems to have an uncommonly larger number of divisors. its factorization though doesn't seem out of the ordinary. it's a question how c4078 is to be interpreted. hex number? is it supposed to be scientific notation? x*y^z ~ x:ycz or something.
I couldn't seem to find any interesting bit patterns in the numbers either, or any offsets into the file that seemed interesting. but who knows. I don't really have any more time for this.

Is 7 divisors a lot for such a big number? It also doesn't have any repeating prime divisor.

It looks like some sort of frame for a text-based protocol.
(ID):(payload)c(checksum)
ID: 32 bits. It could be a timestamp, but it is too big. Would be either 09-02-2072 or 03-01-1936 if interpreted in 2's complement.
Payload: 192 bits. Not a standard length for anything I know.
Checksum: 16 bits.
Or maybe both parts need to be combined somehow.

The machine's mark was left intentionally. You are staring at the numbers, but you have forgotten the origin. Look back to where the first bricks were laid. The pattern is older than you think.

What is this bullshit, some sort of cryptic riddle with no hints?
And how does knowledge of image formats and numbers prove some sort of intelligence?
If anything crap like this is an advertisement for ai.
Why would any intelligent person waste their time on random riddles rather than working on actual problem solving?

The very first thing that came to my mind from OP was Cicada. But I haven't bothered engaging with this one, so I don't know what kind of problems OP has devised here. Is it really just 1:1 copypaste of Cicada's puzzles?

You call this a Cicada copy? Then prove it.
Days spent on number theory, and you've still gone nowhere.
Here's what you missed: you are only on Layer 1 of Level 1.
And yes -there are three layers in this level alone.
If you haven't passed the first, you haven't even seen the real puzzle yet.
Stop looking for answers Start looking deeper.
The clock is already ticking.

I got by "p is h" treating them as hex and dividing them and shifting it by (421 mod 26).
At1xa · 2026-09-21 01:21
OP is obviously talking about GOST 28147-89. but idk what the key or the origin is. we can isolate the numbers a, b and c as 3222216421 (: is 3A in ASCII), 116016131008104872012171419262452259209161264254176222287 (11 is B in ASCII) and, 4078 (it starts with a c). Four thousand years may refer to base60. a is C00F1EE5 in hex which looks like coffies?
does sha1("velveteened") mean something? idk. was 422 inside 421 somehow orr what? a might be related to Plimpton 322.

No, obviously everyone noticed the resemblance but that lain was the only one who felt special enough to state it like it's some grand revelation. It could be the same group, or someone else recruiting for some project, no one knows.
