What methods are there to break Cloudflare's protection and reach a server's origin IP?

is it allowed to talk about this here? If not, I apologize and would appreciate a recommendation of where to discuss it.

>>89060 Scan the internet with GETs until you find an IP address serving the same website. If the website is configured to use cloudflare correctly this won't work though.

Perform a timing attack across the entire internet.

Humans pay for cloudflare infrastructure. They are only human. They are not many. They are finite.

>>89061 This or depending on what software they got running on their site it could be possible to get their server to make a connection to a server you own, possibly revealing their origin ip.

if the admin is idiotic enough, maybe you can check the http headers to see if there's a leek. Seek if it uses a misconfigured php and do rce lmao

>python3 cloudfail.py -t 4chan.org >Unmasks Cloudflare-protected websites by revealing their real server IPs. >Its three-phase approach—Crimeflare checks, DNSDumpster DNS lookups, and subdomain brute-forcing—exploits misconfigurations, succeeding in ~90% of cases.

>>89092 It is not a bug, but a feature: Cloudflare gets more accounts and clients this way.

>>89060 Question is too broad, because the system itself is secure, what you are searching for is human error. And yes there is tons of way where you can fuarrrk everything up. See DNS history, some service that aren't protected ny cloudfare on the host, vulnerabilities on the web app itself like SSRF...

>>89098 Won't you look extremely malicious doing so? I mean 4chan is pretty much one big soykafpot so that sounds unwise.
Y.T · 2025-09-30 10:51
>>89092 you need to have the ip to exploit this, it doesn't help you find the ip. for op: use shodan, censys, zoomeye. they are your best bet. if the app is complex enough, try to find a ssrf. for example, in an image proxy. also try some common providers, for example, for soy react apps, try 76.76.21.21 with the Host header, many live on vercel. in addition, look at the mx records. that doesn't really work unless it's a cheap shared hosting site though.

>>89060 convince the webmaster to use an OpenNIC URL. That's how we got ours leaked
Netrunner · 2026-01-06 14:51
>>90600 that's assuming he's stupid enough to set up dns to resolve to the real ip. but idk if you can do opennic to cloudflare.
