Hello Lains, i have been having some issues lately towards some soykaf in my life, im studying compsci online for the past 2 years and to be honest, i barely learned soykaf ( i know some basic stuff of python , data types, some about computer architecture and basic soykaf for not be called a "soy user"), but lately i had troubles that made me question myself all my carreer. I wanted to study mechatronics in the past bc i liked the idea of being part of a project of handling machines , creating them and program them, i don't like coding too much to be honest and after some time handling and learning about hardware i started to like it more. I don't have many friends on the course bc most of them are either old men or just never interact, im the only one in my family that is in the field of tech and no one else is either on something related to mechanics, electronics or any related soykaf of what i want. I have some engieneer friends due to internet forums n soykaf and just made me question myself, i don't want to work all my life being a coder on a fuarrrking soy user SaaS/ gay ass web develop work. Other members of my family have business or a sucessfull career on their field with a decent/good life, so im also feeling behind all of this soykaf, and passing another 4 years jsut to again, barely start to have a job again and pass trough all the soykaf same again doesn't help. Any advice of what can i do?

If you feel like you don't really like your field anymore, while still in college, you will absolutely abhore and despise it when you will work a few years, and you will have a soykafty life if you hate your carreer. My advice is change fields while it's still relatively easy. Later when you already have bills to pay, it will be much harder to study anything (not to mention neural plasticity in the brain, it's easier to learn new concepts before age 25). Maybe you should look deeper into mechatronics by checking their textbooks, looking into projects they do at college, asking students about things they do, etc, so you make sure you don't hate that too before you put in years. Don't think this is some kind of failure at life. Many-many successful people switched carreers, some did it 4-5 times before finding their optimal one.

Thanks for your reply, isn't that i hate computers and all, but , i tought programmin was more "fun", or at least maybe i could try other oriented stuff with programming. I will try that idea then , im 21 (entered at 20 due to family issues), still some say im in my young age but to be honest, i feel old and like i haven't done soykaf in my life, but im glad someone took the time and added something so thanks again

Definitely study what you enjoy in preparation for later employment. You'll have a lot happier life in the long run.

TL;DR: try something else, repeatedly
IT industry is huge, and if you ask me web dev is not the same as robotics, perfectly fine to hate one and love the other. Consider going through many fields you haven't visited before, learning what people do there and with which tools, and what are the job opportunities. Like, go to 3D modelling, learn some CAD software, design a few parts, if you like it and see open jobs go deeper, otherwise switch to the next target
Even in "programming" there's so much to do — data science, web dev, mobile/desktop apps, embedded systems, all are programming but they're very different. I've also enjoyed learning functional programming in my spare time, it likely won't land you a job but will show you a completely new perspective on coding and might make you a better programmer considering how widespread certain ideas of FP are in Python, Java, C++ etc
