There was a guy on /g/ before who shared some kind of homemade frontend for the paid ChatGPT models, so you could ask as much stuff as you wanted (no images needed) with no limits.
Just curious if anyone has one to share for ChatGPT or Claude
I already use Grok and Gemini but I hear Claude/ChatGPT is the best?
I wish I could find the post and I lost my bookmarks

Don't waste your time on this slop beyond just playing with it a while and being done with it. DuckDuckGo has Duck.AI which has a few models.

Gemini is enough for parsing large documents and connecting the dots. You don't need chatgpt/claude. Anyway just use your phone number to register. You have nothingness to hide from the Big Brother.

Grok doesn't require phone verification

I hear you guys loud and clear, but the fact is I still do depend on it to save me a lot of Googling at times, especially when it comes to OPNsense or Linux terminal questions as I'm just a novice user
I am still interested in Claude especially, if someone is sharing
Duck.ai is pretty cool though thanks for the tip, I just tried it

The big models pretty expensive to run. I've also sometimes seen people eat the cost and offer a frontend for free, but that's usually if they're showing off a product or cool demo.
If you do try to go this route of not paying, it'll be a constant scavenger hunt as people show new demos and shut down old ones.

Yeah there's ones that have been shared on /g/ previous times, complete with screenshots and everything it's usually some kind of self-hosted HTML frontend that they share with people.. I just figured this was a pretty tech-forward forum and maybe there was an easy answer or resource
Thanks though!

mistral.ai works well. It's a custom model, not a frontend

It doesn't always save you time because you have to fact check it still since you get occasionally hallucinations from the LLMs where they just make stuff up. Sometimes you can improve results by asking follow ups like "but i thought that..." and it sometimes corrects itself.

https://chat.xenai.tech has claude and some other models but idk if they're genuine

DeepSeek's API key is cheap as dirt. If you expect to get a decent ai model without having to pay for it you're delusional, maybe in a few years they'll be available but it's still too early
>some kind of homemade frontend
there is Chatbox for desktop but i'm not sure it works without a key

You mean the free proxies on /aicg/?
Doesn't matter what frontend you use for those. You seem to have little understanding on how this stuff actually works.
