hi lains, i like to make edits and montages of various songs over games, things like breakcore on ultrakill footage, or edit a music video and montage it to fit a mashup/remix of the song the thing is I have a bit of a block, I am currently trying to sell my old pc along a bunch of other things like old tech and crts to whomever wants them the issue is my current laptop is 10 years old and is kind of disintegrating rn, it can't run kdenlive well and the hard drive is at 58% health and the battery is basically nonexistent the laptop in question is an i5 4gen and amd hd 8500m I was thinking if I got something like a pc with a 6th gen i5 and a gtx 1660 would suffice because I was using something bigger like davinci resolve and run games like ultrakill, signals and gta 5 if we're stretching things would that be a good choice? I really wanna go back but I lack resources both tech and finance wise to continue and I think I just have to find a job and put fries in the bag like the rest (ps. egyptian college student for context)

I've listened to tons of drum and bass and haven't encountered anything that sounds like Sewerslvt (except for everyone who copied him). Closest thing I've heard is Christoph de Babalon, but even then his ambience is very different. I think people are focusing on the lack of complexity in the beats when the point is to be atmospheric/noisy rather than complex.
