You could just not click on the recommendations. Depends what you even consider valuable though. Odysee is better than YouTube in some ways.

As >>80456 says, only you can define what "valuable content" is. What are your goals? What would you like to accomplish or learn or do at some point?

Stop using YouTube without purpose. When you have a query, or a question, or you want to learn about something specific, search for it on YouTube. Choose a few videos, watch them, then close YouTube.
If you want to follow a creator, get a link to their RSS feed and add them to an RSS feed reader. You can use the bookmarklet here for this:

Better yet, check if they have a channel on Odysee or an alternate platform, and get their feed from there.

Remember Sturgeon's law, and that books are no exception. Also remember the words of Trevelyan: "Education...has produced a vast population able to read but unable to distinguish what is worth reading."
That said, the right books can be life changing. By all means read, just be selective on what you choose to read.

Only you know your circumstances. That said, you can access the internet in some capacity. Use it to find local events near you, go to them, and start talking to people.
If you genuinely can't meet people in person who share an interest of yours or who you find interesting, or there is no one else around you, talk to them online. Not every interaction needs to be via Discord or some big tech monstrosity, there are plenty of interesting people on various other networks. If all else, email still works fine.
