>>79437 haveno-reto.com basicswapdex.com OR, get some LTC and swap them into XMR inside stackwallet.com
Zhora · 2024-08-22 04:47
>>79437 You can also buy Monero directly inside monero.com and stackwallet.com wallet apps, depending on your geographical location.

Wallet 1 – buy with credit card. Wallet 2 – receive from wallet 1, use to buy privacy sensitive products. Does it make sense?

>>79520 >Does it make sense? Yes.

The Phantom Phreak · 2024-08-27 03:13
>>79527 How much what? As far as I know, you can buy with credit cards inside monero.com wallet, OR stackwallet.com wallet Both of these are available on fdroid on android. You can buy XMR with either of these apps and then move your 'neros to the other Monero wallet app. And then buy your TRT hormones on the darkwebs.
Spike Spiegel · 2024-08-27 03:18
>>79527 You can also checkout monezon.com for buying XMR. They have an interesting system for facilitating XMR purchases.
The Oracle · 2024-08-27 09:13
>>79529 >How much what? How much safe, but I figured it out already. Guess 2 VMs, one for card, one for purchase, are going to be by a decent margin an overkill for the purpose of just playing with crypto.
Project 2501 · 2024-08-27 10:07
>>79520 >>79533 It is unnecessary but a reasonable system if you're just a pleb making small purchases. To actually describe the details of it is too much effort for me right now - you could watch Breaking Monero series on youtube i you want to spend hours learning. I pay taxes on most of my monero sales (shocking?) so i do have separate wallets to try to keep a 'clean' wallet in case i need to provide information to the government or exchanges

>>79534 >I pay taxes on most of my monero sales (shocking?) so i do have separate wallets to try to keep a 'clean' wallet in case i need to provide information to the government or exchanges I wonder how common this is. People meme about "fuarrrk the IRS!" but nobody actually wants to deal with that soykaf if there is even a 1 in a million chance. It would be a great start to have rules that exempt people who haven't made a bunch of money from reporting/tax requirements. (I think there are some countries that have something like that?) It could be even more important if you are a criminal? From a "one crime at a time" perspective you'd want to report it all. From a "law enforcement will lie about why they started watching me" perspective, you'd want to at least lie about which wallets are yours.

How does one use Monero to make purchases on Ebay, Amazon, Discogs, etc?

Is there anyway to sync faster over Tor without running a full node? I have old wallets and it takes like a whole day or more...
Cat Mother · 2024-10-01 13:45
Kraken will delist XMR in Europe.
Switch · 2024-10-06 21:23
how does the p2p wallets thing work? why cant i copy paste coins?
Judge Fang · 2024-10-07 00:31
>>79726 So my understanding is that if you don't use Tor it uses a DNS ridirecter. I never got why people would use any blockchain without Tor or I2P. I use feather wallet and enable the onion addresses only option and always over Tor. But heres the thing is there anyway to sync faster over Tor without running local full node and is a HDD a bad idea for a full node or pruned node? I really think Monero needs to figure out a way that would use Dandelion++ when using a remote node cause I dont get how running a local full node is even realistic with any any crypto Monero or not. Dandelion++ is only used when you broadcast a payment if your using a local node due to some limitation of sorts I'm not really sure but it would be great if it was used with remote nodes. I will always stand with Monero but another currency that people should look at that is Epic Cash that uses the Mimblewimble protocol and keeps things less complicated then Monero. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHjtfArBOD8

>>80203 >we can't let the people transact privately now can we
Mario Rossi · 2024-10-08 14:34
>>80418 Stack wallet looks pretty good. Yeah the top privacy coins you should use/hodl are: 1. Monero (XMR) 2. Firo (FIRO) 3. Epic Cash (EPIC) Memecoin mention PirateChain (ARRR) (Only for swap mixing since it Zcash shielded by default). Not as an actual use case coin as its discord tier but since its shielded Zcash by default all transactions look the same but don't take the devs serious they are Discord trannies.
